构成：t+动词原形，其否定式是直接 在t之前加nt。
特征：动词不定式是一种非谓语动词 形式，没有人称和数的变化。
作用：动词不定式在句中可以用作主 语、表语、宾语、补足语、定 语、状语等。
1. 作主语动词不定式（短语）作主语时，为了避免句子的头重 脚轻，常用it作形式主语，而把真正的主语—动词 不定式（短语）放在句子的后面。例：学好英语很重要。 T learn English well is very imprtant. =It’s very imprtant t learn English well.
2. 作表语动词不定式（短语）作表语常用于系动词be的后面。例：他的工作是饲养动物。 His wrk is t feed animals.
3. 作宾语动词不定式（短语）可以放在一些动词后面用作宾语；常接动词不定式作宾语的动词有： begin, start, want, frget, remember, shw, learn, like, hate, lve, ask等。
4. 作宾语补足语(1)带t的不定式作宾语补足语: tell/ask/want/wuld like/wish/like/invite/encurage/teach sb. t d sth. 等。(2)省略t的不定式作宾语补足语: 常跟在let, make, see, watch, hear, feel, ntice, have等感官动词或使役 动词后面作宾语补足语。(3)可带t也可省略t的: help sb. (t) d sth.
5. 作定语动词不定式作定语常用来修饰名词或不定代词，放于所修饰的词后，作后置定语。例：最好的植树时间是春季。 The best time t plant trees is spring.

(1) plan用作动词时意为“制订计划、打算”：
plan sth. 意为“计划某事”，后接名词。
例：他们正计划去欧洲旅行。 They are planning a trip t Eurpe.

(1) expect 用作动词意为“期待，预料，打算”：
例：老师期望我们努力学习。 The teacher expects us t wrk hard.

(2) news 意为“新闻，情报，报道；泛指消息”， 后面可接 abut或者f，意为“关于……的报道”。
