    Teaching Cntent
    本单元谈论和学习的话题是天气及其衣着。在四年级下册Unit 3 Is It Snwing? 中所学的天气词汇及句型的基础上,结合已经学习的衣物类词汇,进一步学习表述天气的形容词,使学生能在相应的语境中灵活运用所学词汇谈论天气,并能就在不同的天气里应该注意哪些情况提出合理建议。该话题贴近学生的日常生活,所以学生会比较容易接受和理解。今天授课的内容是第二课时,以Part A中Let’s talk部分的对话为主。在复习词汇sunny, windy, cludy, snwy, rainy的基础上重点学习如何谈论天气。

    1. Students will be able t learn and master the fllwing sentence structures:
    - What’s the weather like tday?
    -It’s sunny/ windy/ cludy/ snwy/ rainy.
    2. Thrugh the practice, the students’ abilities f listening and speaking can be imprved.

    Step1 Warming up &Revisin
    1. Sing a sng & Revisin (Hw’s the weather?)
    2. Greetings.
    (设计意图:轻松愉快的打招呼拉近了师生距离,有效缓解了学生的紧张情绪。一曲节奏欢快,关于天气的英文歌曲迅速将孩子们带入英语学习氛围,边唱边出示单词卡片有效复习了第一课时词汇,为新知呈现奠定了基础。)
    Step2 Leading in
    Intrduce a new friend Mr. Snail t the students.
    Mr. Snail: Hell, everyne! I’m Mr. Snail. I have a nice and warm huse. I like t stay in it very much. If yu want me t cme ut, I will ask, what’s the weather like tday? Only the right answer can make me ut.
    (设计意图:通过设计卡通人物蜗牛先生喜欢呆在壳里,只有给出合理天气它才愿意出来这样一个情境,巧妙引出本节课重点句型What’s the weather like tday? )
    Step3 Presentatin
    1. Create situatin.
    Use the PPT t shw the students the cnversatin between Mr. Snail and his friends. And then let the students t practice the dialgue:
    A: Hi, Mr. Snail! Cme ut. Let’s play tgether.
    B: What’s the weather like tday?
    A: It’s sunny/ windy/ cludy/ snwy/ rainy.
    B: Oh, I’m srry. I want t sleep.
    (Oh, it’s raining. I like raining. Let’s g ut t play.)
    (设计意图:通过蜗牛先生与小鸟,乌龟,蚂蚁,企鹅以及蚯蚓之间的对话,利用师生问答、小组问答、男女问答、角色扮演等形式呈现并操练句型- What’s the weather like tday? – It’s sunny/ windy/ cludy/ snwy/ rainy. 在创设的情境下反复操练句型,不仅避免了无意义的机械练习,还大大激发了学生们的学习兴趣。)
    2. Listen and answer.
    Mr. Snail intrduces his friend Wu Chen t the students. Tell them Wu Chen is ging t schl. Let them listen t the radi and answer the questins:
    Is it cludy tday?
    What’s the weather like tday?
    (设计意图:回归课本,将Let’s talk部分制作成听力材料。通过贯穿课堂的灵魂人物蜗牛先生引出,亲切自然。并且学生结合问题有目地听,抓住文本关键信息的同时,培养学生听的能力,进而提高学生的综合语言运用能力。)
    3. Listen and fllw.
    Ss listen and fllw t say the sentences by lking at their bks. Then answer the questins:
    What’s the weather like nw?
    What des Wu Chen’s mther ask her t take with?
    (设计意图:通过模仿习得准确的语音语调,另外,问题设计由易到难,满足不同层次学生的学习需求。)
    4. Read in rles.
    Teacher divides the students t three grups, then let them read the dialgue in rles.
    设计意图:通过角色参与,再次理解文本,内化语言知识。
    Step4 Cnslidatin
    Make a new dialgue.
    Let the students make a new dialgue accrding t the tips.
    A: What’s the weather like tday?
    B: It’s …
    A: let’s…(g swimming/ climb the muntains/make a snwman/fly kites/g ut t play)
    B: Gd idea. Take yur… with yu.
    A: See yu.
    B: See yu.
    (设计意图:通过学生自编对话,检测其是否将语言内化,达到语言整体输出的目的,使学生形成语篇意识。)
    Step5 Summary
    1. Let the students read the sentences n the blackbard.
    2. Sing a sng. (What’s the weather like tday?)
    (设计意图:通过集体诵读重点句型以及吟唱What’s the weather like tday? 在轻松的氛围中结束课堂教学。)
    Step6 Hmewrk
    1. Oral wrk: Try t recite the passage n page 39.
    2. Written wrk: Make sentences with -What’s the weather like tday? -It’s…
    (设计意图:口头、书面两种方式的作业,既注重了所学内容的及时巩固,又注重了所学内容向生活实际的延伸。)
