Unit 1 Can you play the guitar?Section A (1a-2c)一、教学目标：1. 语言知识目标：1) 掌握以下单词：guitar, sing, swim, dance, chess, play chess, draw, speak, speak English, join, club2掌握以下句型： —I want to join the chess club.—Can you play the guitar?  —Yes, I can./ No, I can't.  2.能力目标：  掌握以下语法：情态动词can的用法want to do sth.的用法3. 情感态度价值观目标：本节内容贴近学生的生活，谈论的话题是能力。通过互相询问或谈论自己或对方在某一方面的能力，可以培养学生的能力以及和理想之间的联系。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点：1) 学习询问和谈论彼此的能力和特长；2) 掌握一些弹奏乐器的表达方式。2. 教学难点：情态动词can的构成和使用。三、教学过程Lead- in看视频，提问题的形式导入新课Q1:How many instruments can you see?Q2:What can you see?增强与学生之间的互动，提问一个学生他看到了什么乐器，他会弹奏某乐器吗？For example,can you play the guitar?然后引入本节课题。 (1)Step1.  Look and guess  Look at the picture and guess what’s he/she doing? What can he/she do? Then read the words and phrases.(2）Step2.  PresentationT: There are so many clubs in our school. If you can sing, you can join the music club.Ask S1: Lucy,do you want to join the music club? Can you sing?T:If you can draw, you can join the art club.Ask S2: Bob,,do you want to join the art club? Can you draw?Summarize the key sentences:I want to join the ...club.---Can you...?---Yes, I can.(3)    Step3. PracticeAsk the Ss to practice the conversations in 1b with a partner.
