Review:从四季歌曲自然进入复习环节。主要以How many句型引出year的概念，同时复习了数词和season，month，week，day等表示时间概念的词汇。为后面做词组替换练习也做了铺垫。How many seasons are there in a year?How many months are there in a year?How many weeks are there in a year?How many days are there in a year?Step Ⅱ New Concepts:1. Introduce:T: In China, years have names. The names are animals.Can you name these animals? Have a try.a. 学生自读已学过的十二生肖动物词汇。E.g. dog, pig, tiger, cow, sheep, monkey, snake, rabbit, horse, ect.b. 教师重点讲解新授的十二生肖动物词汇。E.g. rat, ox, dragon, rooster.重点指导单词拼写和读音。例如，rat—cat, 字母组合“dr”，“oo”的发音规律。注意联系学生生活和东西方文化差异拓展学生的英语知识视野。例如，鼠的另一表达方式mouse，联系卡通明星Mickey Mouse来呈现。引导学生简单了解龙在东西方文化中的差异，并提示学生用Chinese dragon来进行区别。2. Make sentences:模仿例句The twelfth animal is a pig.进行造句操练。联系旧知（序数词）帮助学生建立准确的十二生肖的顺序概念。个别学生展示——小组内交流——多数学生的展示。提示学生注意倾听，不说重复的句子。3.
