Have you ever buy anything in a corner store? Show some information of corner stores and explain it to students. Make they understand what a corner store is. 2.Ask students to discuss the question: What can you see in a corner store? Show some pictures and lead students to answer: I can see some food, drinks, books and so on.

讲授新课 | Step 1:Learn new words 1.Show the pictures of the new words. Ask students try to remember the new words. 2.Play a game. Match each word with its Chinese meaning.
Step 2:Learn the text 1.Listen to the tape of the text and know about the main points of the lesson. 2.Learn the language points (1)corner的意义和用法 (2)Can I help you?的意义和用法和help的用法 (3)pass的意义和用法 (4)take down的意义和用法
Step 3:Read and answer Read the dialogue and answer the following questions： 1.Where does Danny go? 2.What does Mrs. Dinosaur need? 3.What would Danny like? Finish the task in class orally.
Step 5:Look and say Look at the pictures and complete the dialogues.
Step 6:Pair work Work in pairs and make dialogues between a clerk and a shopper. Step 7:Come to “Let’s do it” Listen to the tape and finish Exercise 1 together. Ask the students to finish Exercise 2,3 by themselves.Then check the answers. Play the tape of Exercise 1. Learn to sing the song.
Step 8:Practice Finish the exercise by themselves.Then check the answers.
Step 9:Homework 1.Practice the dialogue in this lesson. 2. Preview Lesson 24. Find out the key sentences including the key phrases.
