A sentence is cmpsed f wrds accrding t a certain grammatical structure.The parts that make up a sentence are called the cmpnents f a sentence.The cmpnents/elements f a sentence include: subject 主语verb 谓语动词predicative 表语bject (direct and indirect bject)宾语(直接宾语和间接宾语)bject cmplement宾语补足语attributive 定语adverbial 状语appsitin 同位语
1.主语subject由名词、代词、不定代词或相当于名词的单词,短语或从句来充当,主语置于谓语之前。2.谓语verb谓语用来说明主语“做什么”、“是什么”或“怎么样”,谓语必须是动词,谓语和主语在“人称”和“数”两方面必须一致。3.表语 predicative表语说明主语“是什么”或“怎么样”,由名词、形容词、介词、副词、不定式及相当于名词的词或短语来充当,它的位置在系动词后面。4.宾语bject宾语是动作、行为的对象,由名词、代词、不定式、或短语,从句来充当,通常放在谓语动词后面。
5.直接宾语和间接宾语direct bject and indirect bject直接宾语表示动作的承受者,一般是物。间接宾语表示动作是对谁或为谁做的,一般是人。6.宾语补足语 bject cmplement宾语补足语指在英语中有些及物动词,接了宾语意义仍不完整,还需要有一个其他的句子成分,来补充说明宾语的意义、状态等,简称宾补宾语补足语,宾语和宾补可以构成逻辑上的主谓关系。7.定语 attributive定语用来修饰名词或代词的形容词、代词、数词、名词、介词短语或句子。学习的重点是定语从句。
8.状语 adverbial 状语用来修饰动词、形容词、副词或句子。它表示行为发生的时间、地点、目的、方式、程度等,一般由副词、介词短语、不定式(目的状语),从句来充当。9.同位语 appsitive当两个指同一事物的句子成分放在同等位置时,一个句子成分可被用来说明或解释另一个句子成分,后者就叫做前者的同位语(appsitive)。学习的重点是同位语从句。
