First, it’s important for us to do more reading after class. Second, we should try our best to protect the environment. It’s a good way to ride bicycles or walk instead of driving a car. Third, we should obey public rules. For example, we must keep quiet in public. Lastly, we can be volunteers to help people in need. Why not make friends with poor children in the countryside and donate some books to them?

Of course, we shouldn’t do the following things. When we are in public places, we can’t drop litter everywhere. It’s bad manners to pick flowers or step on the grass. It’s rude to push in before others too.

I write to you just because I’m worried about the big problem that we are facing.

People used to live a poor life, but there was little pollution on the Earth. Now our lives have greatly improved, but the environment is changing for the worse. In many places, rubbish is thrown into lakes and rivers. In some cities, air pollution does harm to people’s health. If this continues, the Earth will soon become a terrible place for people to live. I think we should stop pollution, plant more trees and use new types of energy. It’s important for us to develop a green lifestyle.

Dear students,

I will tell you something about this month’s school activity called “Everyone offers love to poor children”.

First of all, many children in poor areas can’t afford to go to school because they don’t have enough money. As a result, they have to work with their parents in the field day after day. What’s more, every child should not only have the equal right to go to school but also get basic education. Meanwhile, the children get sick easily as they can’t drink clean water and have to stay hungry.

We should do as much as we can to help these children in need. For example, we can donate some books to them so that they can learn more about the world. Just as the saying goes, “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.”

I’m a middle school student. We know now there are many left-behind children whose parents work away from their hometown. These children are facing many problems now. It is easy for them to feel lonely and they also have some trouble making friends with others from time to time. I think we should plan a volunteer project to help them. And we can donate our money and clothes to them. We should care more about them. Moreover, the parents should return to their children as often as possible so that the children can feel warm and less lonely.

It’s really important to do something for left-behind children if we want to build a better society.

My dear friends,

Each of us has the duty to obey public rules. Let’s say no to the bad behaviour. Now, we can still see some people spit here and there. Sometimes, people push in before others in public.

I think each of us should have good manners. In the school library, we should keep quiet. We should also return books on time. In the canteen, it’s necessary for us to wait in line. We’d better not waste food. In the classroom, we mustn’t write or draw on our desks. It’s dangerous to run after each other or fight with others.

We need to obey public rules outside the school as well. When we cross a road, please wait for the green light. While we are enjoying ourselves in the park, remember not to pick flowers or drop litter there.

Finally, I’d like to say, the more efforts we make, the better public places we will have.
