We started frm Vancuver, where we picked up ur vehicle fr the trip - a hme n wheels. It tk us where we wanted, when we wanted. Dad did the driving but he has a pr sense f directin. We gt lst a few times even with the help f GPS, but eventually we managed t crss the Rcky Muntains.
I was hping t see a bear r even an eagle, but all I saw was a small grup f deer. The views were fantastic, thugh. There were frests, muntains with snwy tps and masses f ice. It’s like anther wrld.
We reached Quebec n the eighth day, where mst peple speak French. Well, actually, they speak Quebecis, which is a type f Canadian French. The funniest thing happened n that day. I'd fallen asleep, when I heard Dad's phne ringing. He was driving, s I answered it. Guess wh it was? Mum!
It was then that I realised her seat was empty! Hw did that happen? Well, while I was sleeping, Dad stpped fr sme petrl and Mum als gt ut t take phts, and yu can guess the rest... She was s mad! T cheer her up, we went t a typical Quebec restaurant fr lunch.
We had the famus “putine”, which is a dish f French fries, fresh cheese and a ht brwn sauce called “gravy”. It's usually fllwed by pancakes with maple syrup - delicius!
S, we're nw in Newfundland, the very eastern part f Canada and the end f ur jurney. T celebrate, we went n a bat trip yesterday. Mum was using Dad's phne t take phts f the clurful little huses alng the cast when we saw smething amazing - a killer whale! Mum was s excited that she drpped the phne int the sea.
