教学难点： Use the target language to talk with your classmates about your opinions on what makes a good friend.

Step 2 Presentation (PPT 6-8)		1. Work on 1a. Ask Ss to read the instruction in 1a. What kinds of things are important in a friend? Rank the things below [1-7] (1 is the most important). 2. Make Ss read each description and then order them. 3. Ask Ss to match pictures with their meanings. 4. Work on 1b.Ask Ss to talk about what they think a good friend should be like. 5. Step 3 Listening (PPT 9-11)		1. Work on 1c. Play the tape for the first time. Listen. What do Molly and Mary like about their best friends? Fill in the first column of the chart. 2. Ask Ss to complete the task individually then call some to read the sentences. Check answers. 3. Work on 1d. Play the tape again. Listen again. How are Molly and Mary the same and different from their best friends? Ask Ss to complete the rest of the chart in 1c. 4. Make Ss complete the passage using the information in 1c,1d. 5. Check the answers and read the passage together.				每次听完，学生都要完成不同的任务，最后将听力材料转换成短文，帮助学生深入理解。
Step 4 Role-play (PPT 12)		1. Ask Ss to talk about Molly and Mary and their best friends. 2. Practice them like this: A: Molly studies harder than her best friend. B: Well, Mary and her best friend are both tall. 3. Call some pairs to present in class.				利用上面听力中Molly and Mary的朋友的信息，编对话并进行表演。
Step 5 Practice (PPT 13 )		1. Play a game. Think about four sentences to describe the same or different things between you and your best friend. One sentence should give the false information and the other three should give the correct information. 2. Guess who she/he is.				通过游戏让学生充分练习本课语言点。
