Key vocabulary:repeat, note, physics, chemistry…take notes, practice doing sth., do grammar exercises, keep a diary...2. Key sentences:a. -How do you learn English? -I learn by studying with a group.b .-How can I improve my pronunciation?-One way is by listening to tapes.3. Structure: verb+by doing教学难点：verb+by doing教学过程(表格描述)教学环节主要教学活动设置意图Step 1Lead-in(PPT 3-7)Ask Ss to have a free talk about the relationship between body parts and language learning.设计这个自由谈话引入本节课的语法。Step 2Revision(PPT 8-11) Ask and answer.Have some students to ask questions “How...”and the other students answer the questions“By...”.通过PPT上的图片，复习第一、二课时的学习内容，如何学好英语。Step 3Presentation(PPT 12-14)1.Show the grammar focus.  2.Make Ss read the sentences and match them.3.Show the grammar in this Unit and explain.-How+do/does +主语+动词原形+…？-By+短语或by + v.-ing 形式通过总结、反复读句子、连线，概括本单元的语法内容。Step 4Practice (PPT 15-17)Work on 4a.1. Ask Ss to read the questions and answers ,then match them.2. Guide Ss to list the sentences with “by...”in this lesson. 3. Learn the phrases “by…” 连接句子后再阅读，巩固对语法的掌握。总结by的用法。Step 5Pair work  (PPT 18-22)Work on 4b,4c.1. Make sentences using the structure “do sth. by doing”. 2. Spread English to other subjects.3. Ask Ss to make an interview with partners about the way learning English.练习这些陈述句后，可以扩展到其他句式，也可以扩展到其他学科，进行练习。以引起SB的内容。Step 6    Exercises (PPT 23-28)Show some exercises for Ss to practice the target language. 通过单选、填单词、词形填空、完成句子等形式练习所学的语法点。Step 7中考链接(PPT 29-30) Ask Ss to try to do some exercises from past exam papers.针对本课语法精选中考题，引导学生学习过程中与中考链接。Step 8Homework(PPT 31)Make a survey and fill in the chart.
