Because they are friendly.②The elephants is one of Thailand's symbols. ③Let's save the Elephants. 2) 能熟练朗读课文;了解世界各地一些其他动物的情况,让学生们眼界更宽阔,也让关注野生动物,爱护动物。2. 情感态度价值观目标:培养学生关注野生动物,爱护动物的意识和责任。三、重难点重点 学习表达自己喜爱的动物和描述习性。2. 通过阅读训练来让学生们逐步提高英语阅读能力;3. 通过阅读,并展开交流。难点 表达自己喜爱的动物,进行描述动物的逻辑; 通过阅读,并展开交流。四、教学活动及设计思路教学环节教学内容设计目的Step1. Lead-in  Sing a song :Elephants  Free talk T -Do you like the elephants?   Ss - ...  T -What do you think of the elephants? S - They are... T- How do we describe the animals?Ss - cute, strong...     1. To stimulate the interest of this class.to lead to our topic today. 相关歌曲导入,引发兴趣,引话题.  2. to lead to our topic; to think actively 交谈引发话题,并使学生积极思考,Step2 Presentation 1a. Match the description words with the animals.Learn the description  1b. Listen and circle the description words you hear in 1a.  1c. Listen again. What words do they use to describe the animals? Fill in the chart.     Think- T -Different people have different opinions about the elephants(animals)  Some think they're cute because of their big ears and long trunk. While others think they're scary because they're too big with big tusks.  How do you think?  Pair Work - 1c. Talk about the animals you know with your partner.
