1. Shw yur Passin and Cnnect with yur Audience
It’s hard t be relaxed and be yurself when yu’re nervus.
But time and again, the great presenters say that the mst imprtant thing is t cnnect with yur audience, and the best way t d that is t let yur passin fr the subject shine thrugh.
Be hnest with the audience abut what is imprtant t yu and why it matters.
Be enthusiastic and hnest, and the audience will respnd.
2. Keep it Simple: Cncentrate n yur Cre Message
When planning yur presentatin, yu shuld always keep in mind the questin:
What is the key message (r three key pints) fr my audience t take away?
Yu shuld be able t cmmunicate that key message very briefly.
Sme experts recmmend a 30-secnd ‘elevatr summary’, thers that yu can write it n the back f a business card, r say it in n mre than 15 wrds.
Whichever rule yu chse, the imprtant thing is t keep yur cre message fcused and brief.

3. Smile and Make Eye Cntact with yur Audience
This sunds very easy, but a surprisingly large number f presenters fail t d it.
If yu smile and make eye cntact, yu are building rapprt, which helps the audience t cnnect with yu and yur subject. It als helps yu t feel less nervus, because yu are talking t individuals, nt t a great mass f unknwn peple.

4. Relax, Breathe and Enjy
If yu find presenting difficult, it can be hard t be calm and relaxed abut ding it.

THE LABA FESTIVAL AND LABA PORRIDGE
The Laba Festival usually ccurs abut a mnth befre the Chinese Spring Festival. The festival's traditinal fd is Laba prridge.
Pssible ingredients and steps:
15 Chinese dates
5 peeled Tngan fruit 3 walnuts
1/2 cup f sticky rice
1/4 cup f millet
1/4 cup f peanuts
1/4 cup f red beans 1/4 cup f mung beans 1/4 cup f raisins
Wash the rice, millet, peanuts, red beans. and mung beans, and sak them in 2 cups f water vernight.
