一、教学内容:
1、主题课文:
Sara: I like your new sweater. It looks nice and warm.
Lingling: It’s warm but not new. It was my cousin’s It is small for her now.
Sara: What size are you? What size does she wear?
Lingling: My size is M and she wears size L.
Sara:Mine is L,too. I like the colors black and white. They go together well.

My size is M and she sears size L.

二、教学目标:
(一)知识与技能:
1、能理解课文内容并初步正确的进行朗读。
2、能听懂、会说What size are you? What size does she wear? My size is M and she wears size L.并能用该句式询问别人的衣服尺寸或对别人的询问作出应答。
3、能听、说、读、写单词:size black white
(二)过程与方法:
1、通过看图说话、听录音跟读、自读、Pair work 、展示等形式使学生能初步正确理解朗读课文。
2、通过跟读、Pair work 、了解同学的服装号码活动帮助学生学习理解、操练和初步运用本课功能句型。
3、通过引导学生利用字母i.a 的发音规则认读记忆新单词,通过说句子帮助理解单词的含义。
(三)情感态度与价值观:
乐于就衣服的尺寸进行交谈。了解衣服的再利用,树立低碳生活意识。
三、教学重难点:
(一)重点:
能理解“What size are you? What size does she wear?. My size is M and she sears size L.” 并能用该句型谈论衣服的尺寸。
(二)难点:
两种询问尺寸的不同方法容易混淆。

录音机、磁带、本课单词卡片 、带有尺寸标志的衣服
五、教学过程
(一) Warming up
活动一、我能演,我会说。
活动目标:复习Lesson 19 和lesson 20内容。
实施方法与师生语言预设:
T: Who can act the text of L19 and L20?
S ( Act the dialogue or retell)
设计意图:复习lesson 19 和Lesson 20的内容,培养学生的口语表达能力。并为过渡到本课的学习做好铺垫。
(二)Presentation and practice
活动一、学习新句型:What size are you?
活动目标:学习新单词size;在语言情境中初步学习理解询问某人衣服尺寸并做出相应的回答的功能句式。
实施方法与师生语言预设:
T: I am wearing a suit. but I like to wear casual clothes after school.
My size is L. 出示一件衣服的号码标示。
学习新单词”size” 注意i的发音, 齐读,然后指名读。
T: Do you know other size?
S: L M S (师板书LMS. Maybe XL XXL XS ) .
S: What size are you?
S: 引导学生说出:My size is …
然后Team work. Ask and answer.
We can also say: What size do you wear? I wear size L。
Team work to practice with this pattern .
设计意图:通过观察实物,为学习新单词和练习功能句型提供了了较好的情境;同时有助于后边更好地理解对话。
活动二、学习新课文
活动目标:学习、理解、操练对话。
实施方法与师生语言预设:
1、看图说话
T:Show the picture .Can you say something about the picture?
S: Lingling wears a sweater. It’s black and white.
Sara wears a yellow sweater.
2、听录音进一步理解对话内容。
T: Listen to the dialogue and answer.”
Does Sara like Lingling’s sweater? Why?
Does Lingling’s mother buy the new sweater for her?
S:Yes,she does.Because it looks nice and warm.
No,she doesn’t.The sweater was Lingling’s cousin’s. It is small for her cousin now.
3、再次听录音,学习重点句型的另外一种表达法。
T: The sweater is small for her cousin?
What size does she wear? (教师提问并同时板书)=What size is she?
What size is Lingling?
S: Listen and answer: Lingling’s cousin wears size L .
Lingling’s size is M.
4、How about Sara?
Read the sentences and underline.
Sara’s size is L. Her favorite color is black and white. Because they go together well.
Help ss to understand the meaning of go together. 相配,协调
Mine==My size 名词性物主代词。
5、Practice:
(1) Listen to the tape twice.
(2) Repeat the sentences after the recorder, one sentence by one sentence.
(3) Read the dialogue in pair.
(4) Act it out .
(三)Production.
活动一、了解同学的衣服尺寸。
活动目标:在真实情境中对本课所学重点功能句型进行运用。
实施方法与师生语言预设:继续使用前面的调查表,利用本课功能句型What size are you?(What size do you wear?)调查本班同学或者父母的衣服尺寸。然后在全班汇报。
T: 教师或者个别学生示范。

2、理解认读a pair of sneakers/a pair of leather shoes a jacket/a sweatshirt a shirt/ a blouse等三组词语并能运用于句式What size are you? What size does she wear? My size is M and she wears size L.中进行替换练习。能在真实的情境中询问某人衣服鞋子的尺寸或者做出应答。
3、强化四会单词的听说读写。
4、读懂故事,回答问题。
(二)过程与方法:
1、通过小竞赛、展示、表演剧等形式使学生能熟练朗读表演课文。
2、通过观察图片(实物)说话、自主尝试读、以旧带新、跟录音读等方式学习认读理解新单词和短语,通过教师示范、小组合作、创编对话等方式,让学生理解并能在真实的情境中运用本课功能句式。
3、通过听写、读词造句、创编对话的过程中巩固四会单词的听说读写。
4、通过听录音、看插图、自读、交流等方式,帮助学生理解故事的内容,并能完成课后习题。
(三)情感态度与价值观:
学生能乐于了解长辈的衣服鞋子尺寸的信息,有关心孝敬长辈的意识;同时能就衣服尺寸与人用英语交谈,树立自信心。

活动目标:复习本课书对话。
实施方法与师生语言预设:
T: One minute to read. Recite or read the dialogue or retell .
S (Pair work to ready)
S ( show:朗读、背诵、表演) 能背的学生盖两个印章,能读的盖一个。
设计意图:鼓励学生背诵表演课文,考察学生对课文的掌握情况和在家完成作业的情况,锻炼学生的口语表达能力,提高重点知识的复现率。
(二) Presentation and practice
活动一、学习新短语Let’s practice
活动目标:学习、理解、运用三组词语a pair of sneakers / a pair of leather shoes a jacket/a sweatshirt a shirt/ a blouse
实施方法与师生语言预设:
1、认读新单词短语
(1) 谈话引入
T:(师说并板书) I wear L sweater. I wear size 37 shoes. What size do you wear?
S: I wear … I wear….shoes.
Team work: Ask and answer.
(2) Try to read
T:Look at the picture(教师出示单词卡片) and try to read. Pay attention the parts with underline.

(3) Listen to the tape and learn the phrases.

场景一:在同学家里
T: What kind of shoes do you wear after school ?
S: I wear a pair of sneakers.
T:What size shoes do you wear?
S: I wear size 37 shoes.
T: How about your father?
S: He wears a pair of leather shoes to work?

S:He wears size 43 shoes.
场景二:在鞋店:
学生尝试创编,若编不出来,教师出示,请两个学生表演:
S: Can I help you?
C: I want to get a pair of leather shoes for my father. Tomorrow is his birthday.
S:What size shoes does he wear?
C: He wears size 42.
(2)小组练习关于第二、三副图的对话,可以采用对话形式,也可以采用介绍的形式。

设计意图:通过新单词(短语)练习上节课学过的旧句型。达到巩固旧句型,学习新单词的目的,通过引导学生创设合适的情景激发学生孝敬长辈的情感。

1、 Review the stories of L19 and L20
2、Look at the pictures and guess what’s the story about?
S: (听录音并看图,然后回答出:看 ball games)
3、读故事:
(1) 初步阅读全文,了解故事的大致内容,圈出不理解的单词或词语。
T: Read it and circle the words you can’t understand.
A. 同学间进行交流,理解不认识的词语。
B. 全班交流难以理解的词。
(2) 教师播放故事录音,请学生边听边看文字。
