---Rabbits are kind and polite . In China , we have birth-year animal stamps at the beginning of each year.

(一)知识与技能
1、能正确理解课文内容,并能正确朗读对话。
2、能听、说、读、写hardworking, stamp, clever, honest, pig等词语。

(二)过程与方法
1、通过对23、24课的复习自然引入本课的学习。
2、通过听课文录音回答问题来增强对课文的理解。
3、通过初步操练来听懂、会说、询问某人生肖及性格的交际用语,突破难点,为下一课时的操练做准备。
4、通过单词及课文的完形填空,加深对单词及课文的学习。
(三)情感态度价值观
通过进一步谈论生肖的话题,使学生了解中国丰富的民间文化与西方文化的差异,培养他们乐于与别人交流的习惯,拓展他们的文化视野。

(一)warming up
活动:复习巩固
活动目标:学生通过对23、24课的复习,进入新授知识
实施方法及师生预设语言:
回答问题:
Oral English:
1) T: What are oxen’s /rabbits’ traits?
Ss: They are …
2) T: What are oxen/rabbits like? Can you answer me?
Ss: They are…
T: Yes, wonderful.
T: In China, we have birth-year animal stamps at the beginning of each year. Let’s listen to the tape and answer my questions. (Show the stamps with birth-year animal.)
设计意图:学生通过复习旧知识,自然引入新知识。
(二)Presentation and practice
活动一:学习新对话
活动目标: 学生通过各种活动熟悉理解新对话的内容。
实施方法及师生预设语言:
⑴听对话回答问题:
T: Please close your book and I will play the tape. You please listen to the tape and answer the questions.
1) Which birth-year animal is Mike/Sara?
Ss: He/She is an/a …..
2) What are rabbits/oxen like?

(2)学习新单词
活动目标:通过各种方法跟读,单词接龙的方法,快速有效地学习本课四会单词。
实施方法及师生预设语言:
1、读课文并挑出新词;
⑴ T: Let’s read the dialogue quickly. This time you should try to understand the dialogue, meanwhile please find the new words.
Ss read the dialogue quickly and find the new words. Then teacher helps them to deal with the new words.
⑵单词接龙
T:First let’s read the new word following the tape.
Ss: hardworking, stamp, clever, honest, pig
T: Now let’s read the new words together
Ss: hardworking, stamp, clever, honest, pig
T: OK, now, let’s read the new words one by one. Remember when you meet an unknown word, please listen to the next person carefully, and then you read it again.
Ss read the words. Teacher should pay more attention to the D student.
设计意图:通过各种方法学习新单词的读音及意义,并渗透语音教学。
⑵听录音,跟读课文。
T: Let’s listen to the tape and read the dialogue following the tape.
Then they listen and read the dialogue. And deal with the unknown words by asking others.
T: I will play the tape again, and this time you should read the dialogue with tape.
Ss read the dialogue with the tape but more softly to listen to the tape clearly.
活动二:课文操练
活动目标:学生通过各种活动理解掌握新对话的内容,并能初步表演对话。
实施方法及师生预设语言:
(1) 小组朗读
T:There are six sentences. Each group read one sentence, and the last sentence we read it together.
Ss read the dialogue.
(2) 两人练习
T: Please read this dialogue in pairs, and after you read it you’ll show it in pairs.
Ss practice the text in pairs. And act it after practicing.
(三)Production
活动一:创编新对话
活动目标:学生通过和同学的合作创编新的对话,以加强对对话的理解和掌握。
实施方法及师生预设语言:
T: Which birth-year animal are you?
Ss: I’m a/an…
T: What are rabbits/oxen like?
Ss: They are …
(四)评价监控
检测目标和意图:
通过检测题使学生能够牢固掌握本课的知识点。

3、能借助录音读懂故事,完成课后的练习。

实施方法及师生预设语言:
学生两人一组表演对话或自创小对话,但是尽可能的不要看书。对于学困生可以适当的放松要求。
T:I’ll let some of you to act the dialogue with book. Who want to do it, please raise your hand.
Ss: Let me try.
设计意图:学生通过这个活动对刚学过的课文进行简单的复习。有能力的同学在此基础上可以适当的灵活应用已学知识。
(二)Presentation and practice
活动一:Let’s practice
活动目标:巩固交际用语What are oxen like? 及其答语They are hardworking。并能运用该句型进行询问性格及特性,能按照情境做出正确反应。
1. look and read the new phrases:
Monkey, charming, cheeky, clever, creative, and quick-witted,
Rooster, faithful, clever, punctual, proud, and hardworking,
Dog, loyal, caring honest, hardworking, and likeable,
Pig, peace-loving, trusting, honest, and brave,
2. Make new sentences:
What are monkeys/roosters/dogs/pigs like?

设计意图:本部分为学生提供了猴子、公鸡、狗、猪4幅生肖图片及相关单词,供学生描述画面,仿照例句进行替换练习。巩固运用交际用语。
活动二:Listen and choose
活动目标:通过听力练习,进一步提高学生的听力技巧。
实施方法及师生预设语言:
1. T: Let’s read the sentences quickly and guess the questions.
2. T:I’ll play the tape. Please listen to the tape, and let’s whether the answers you got just now is the right answers.
Ss: Listen to the tape carefully, and choose the right answers.
T: Now let’s check the answers. And you should recite the whole sentence when you say your answers. (1. A 2. B 3. A)
听力原文:

设计意图:通过听力练习来帮助学生提高听力水平及做题技巧。
活动三:Read and write
活动目标: 学生通过补全句中所缺单词,巩固本课所学单词的练习,培养学生阅读句子及单词拼写的能力,扩大输入量。
实施方法及师生预设语言:
T: Now let’s do the Read and write part. First, you please read the sentences and try to understand each sentence.
Ss read the sentences, and they try to remember the knowledge about Adjective Comparative Degree and Superlative Degree.
T: Now please do the exercises. Then we’ll check the answers.
Answers:
1.The Chinese people are very hardworking . They are working for a better life.
2. He always tells the truth and never tells a lie. He is very honest.
3. People believe monkeys are clever and pigs are stupid.
4. I have many stamps of all kinds of animals.
教师在对完答案后帮助学生总结做题的技巧,使学生加深理解记忆。
活动四:故事阅读
活动目标: 学生通过阅读小故事能够基本掌握阅读题的基本方法。
实施方法及师生预设语言:
(1) Main idea
T:Today we will learn another story. Before we read the story, you must answer my questions.
1、 Did gods decide which animal will start the cycle of years?
2、 What did the gods say?
3、 What did the animals do then? Let’s read the story quickly. After reading it, please answer some questions.
