Presentatin
Bring in cins, key rings, badges, sft tys, IC cards and stamps in a bag.
(Bks clsed.) Shw the pupils the bag, asking What’s in my bag? Let the pupils guess then intrduce the cins, key rings, badges, sft tys, IC cards and stamps.
Cunt the number I have f each thing making sentences like I have 4 stamps.
Put ne cllectin f each thing n different pupils’ desks and ask What d yu have? Encurage them t cunt and reply I have …
Shw Transparency. Play the Pupil’s Bk Cassette and pint t the speech bubble. Ask the pupils t repeat after the beeps.

(Bks pen.) Shw Transparency. Explain that Tim is shwing Kk the things in his rm. Read the speech bubbles and get the pupils t repeat them.

Pint t the pictures and check that the pupils can say the wrds withut my mdel.
Play the Pupil’s Bk Cassette again. Ask the pupils t circle the cins and the tys in the picture. Tell the pupils t repeat the rhyme.

Remind the pupils abut the cncept f favurite frm Bk 4 where they had t chse their favurite animal. Ask them t chse their favurite pssessin, pssibly smething that they cllect. Ask them t bring ne r mre f their favurite thing t class. Ask them t draw this thing in the frame at the tp f the page.
Tell the pupils t make ntes abut their favurite thing. They shuld write in the blanks prvided.
Tell the pupils t wrk in grups f five r six. Shw them where t write the names f the pupils in the first clumn. Ask them t take turns t ask their friends what they have and hw many f them they have. They then write the results int the table. They can cmpare their table with thse f their friends t check their answers.

In grups, the pupils shw and talk abut their favurite things. Then they put all the things in a bag. They take turns t take a thing ut f the bag. They must try t remember as much infrmatin as pssible abut the wner f the thing and hw many f that thing the wner has, e.g. This is May’s cin. She has 35 cins.
