They are…\ It is….【教学重点】重点单词:where, in, on, between, behind, in front of, beside以及名词library, playground, classroom的听说读写;要求学生能听懂会用句型Where is/are…询问位置,用介词回答某人或某物的位置.【教学难点】单词library, playground, classroom的准确发音.【教学方法】情景交际教学法,合作教学法.【教学准备】多媒体课件,录音机,单词卡片.【教学过程】Step 1 Warming-upⅠ.Greetings.T: Good morning, class.S: Good morning, teacher.Ⅱ.复习单词pen, pencil, ruler, crayon, schoolbag, whose等及句型Whose…is this?Step 2 Presentation and practiceⅠ.利用学习用品和多媒体图片学习单词方位介词in, on, between, behind, in front of, beside.T: Look at the picture. Where is she?S1: She is in the bag.T: Yes, she is in the bag. Let's read the word "in".1.课件出示图1:看图回答:Where is Danny? 告诉学生"在两者之间"英语是:between 让学生试着回答:Danny is between the desk and the chair. (板书) 反复读两遍.再列举几个例子练习:___ is between ___ and ____.2.课件出示图2:看图回答:Where is Jenny? 告诉学生"在…旁边"英语是:beside.让学生试着回答:Jenny is beside Li Ming. Li Ming is beside Jenny. (板书)3.课件出示图3:教师出示单词卡片behind,表示"在……之后";in front of表示"在……之前"与学生互问互答.(板书)T: Where is the boy?S: He is behind the door.4.观察句子,总结方位词表达位置的句子的顺序规律:某物+be+方位词+某地方的名词.5.利用多媒体图片学习名词library, playground, classroom.Ⅱ.出示单词图片,让学生跟读练习.Ⅲ.Practice1.句型学习Where is \ are…?It is…\ They are….当我们想要询问某人或某物的位置时,我们一般都要用到句型Where is \are…?They are\ is….主语是单数,则后面谓语系动词要用is;同样主语是复数,谓语系动词则要用are.2.利用教室里的学生或学习用品的位置用这些方位词作对话.—Where are your pens?—They are in my pencil box.—Where is she?—She is behind Li Qiang.3.Let's play! 和学生一起做游戏.教师将全班同学分成两组,人数相同,每组学生都只有一分钟时间,每组选出一个小老师,这个小老师利用教室里的物品,来向其他同学做动作.其他同学根据动作来说句子.哪一组在规定时间内说的句子多,哪一组就是赢者.S1: puts the ball on the desk.S2: The ball is on the desk.S1: puts the pencil on the book.S3: The pencil is on the book.S1: puts the ruler in the pencil-case.S4: The ruler is in the pencil case.Step 3 Text learningⅠ.看课本,听录音,跟读对话.提醒学生注意模仿录音中的发音.Ⅱ.小组内朗读课本上的对话,并表演对话.Ⅲ.分组完成课本Let's do it.并订正答案.Ⅳ.Letters and sounds.先听录音,跟读字母及单词的发音;然后寻找发音规律:y / ai / / j / ea / i: /Step 4 Summary今天我们学习了单词where, in, on, between, behind, in front of, beside以及名词library, playground, classroom;并学会了用句型Where is / are…询问位置,用介词回答某人或某物的位置.【作业布置】1.听录音,熟读本课内容.2.记忆课文中出现的重点词汇和句型.【板书设计】Unit 1 A New School YearLesson 5 Where Are They?in, on, between, behind, in front of, besideWhere is \ are…?They are \ It is….
