Step 1: Review
(Play a game)
T: Take a card and hide it. I had a dream last night. In my dream I was…
S: Guess it.
Have the children pen their bks and describe Uncle Bky’s dream. Then write dwn sme sentences.
Step 2: Learn the new wrds.
T: Have the children pen their bks. Draw their attentin t the tp half f the page. Pint t the picture and ask: “What can yu see in the picture?”
S: Open the bk and answer the questin.
T: Mdel the wrd and have the children repeat. Use the same prcedure with the ther wrds in the picture.
S: Read the wrds after the teacher.
T: Let student read the wrds again.
S: read the wrds.
T: Let students listen t the tape and pint the new wrds
S: listen and pint. Repeat after the tape.
Step 3: Listen and number.
T: Have the children lk at the pictures at the bttm f the page. Explain that each f the pictures describes a different dream f Ann.
S: Lk at the picture.
T: Let the children talk abut where Ann was and what she was in each dream.
S: Answer it.
T: Play the tape. Let the children pint the picture.
S: Listen t the tape and pint the picture.
T: Play the tape again. Let children write the crrespnding sentence number in the bx next t the matching picture.

T: Pint t each picture and elicit sentences frm the children.
Step 4: Read and write
T: Have the children pen the bks and read the passage, then write the missing wrds.
Step 4: Listen and practice.
T: Draw their attentin t the picture at the bttm f the page. Have them talk abut the picture and then practice reading the sentence by them.
S: Talk abut the picture.
T: Play the tape and let student read after the tape.
S: Listen and read.
