    本板块要求学生尽量做到“学以致用”。通过本单元的学习,学生应该明白,文学名著在人类文明的传承过程中起到了重要作用,文学名著对人的一生能产生重大影响。教师应该指导学生回忆自己读过的文学著作,仔细思考一下这些著作让自己产生的最大人生感悟是什么,然后在课堂上分享。本板块能够促进学生对所学内容的复习与掌握,帮助学生内化单元主题思想,发展思维品质,完成对所学内容的迁移和创新。

    1. Guide the students to have a deeper understanding of the "classics, life and their growth process" through the study of this unit;

    2. Guide students to do more investigation and research, and be able to use appropriate expression to express or show themselves.

    Difficult points

    1. Further expand the depth or breadth of students' classic reading, and guide students to share their sense of reading in time;

    2. Deepen students 'understanding of the theme of "life teachings", and cultivate students' correct outlook on life and values.

    1. recall some sentences that students must be familiar with.
    2. review the introduction and book summary
    3. brainstorm the elements of book profile
    4. create a book profile for The Analects with tips
    5. proofread their own writing with a checklist

    Inspire students to think about the lessons in life they can learn by create the book profile.

    Book 2 : Madame Curie, A Biography

    1. a short book summary
    2. a timeline of Madam Curies life introduced with the contents of book
    3. create a book profile with tips
    4. proofread their own writing with a checklist

    Inspire students to think about how Madame Curie was and the lessons in life they can learn from her.

    Book 3: Oliver Twist

    1. a short book review
    2. a brief storyline
    3. watch 3 video plots with 2 questions respectively to inspire students to reflect their present life
    4. create a book profile with tips
    5. proofread their own writing with a checklist

    Inspire students to think about how Oliver Twist was and reflect what a happy life they lead now.

    6 minutes

    Book 4: King Lear

    1. a brief storyline
    2. a short book review
    3. create a book profile with tips
    4. proofread their own writing with a checklist

    Inspire students to think about how King Lear and his three daughters were and reflect the key to a happy family.

    Summary:

    1. encourage students to read these four book in details by themselves if they are interested in.
    2. conlcusion of todays lesson
    3. reflection of this unit
