Q1: What is the girl doing when she is sleeping?Q2: What is she dreaming about?Q3: Do you have dreams like this sometimes?Q4: What do you often dream? T leads Ss to the title of Lesson 18.通过提问激活学生的已有背景知识,激发学生的学习动机,在语境下教授新词pajamas, common并自然引入本课话题。CWIW3 Pre-listeningStep 2 T introduces the task to the Ss and activates them. Ss work in pairs and talk about two questions.Q1: What knowledge about dreams do you know?Q2: What do you want to know? 通过引入任务,激发学生的学习兴趣。 通过头脑风暴激活学生已有知识并激发他们学习的动机和探索的兴趣。CWPWIW4While-listeningStep 3 1st listening Ss listen to the dialogue and answer the two questions.1. But it’s really 2______ to prove how and 3 ______ we dream.4th listening Ss listen to the second part and choose the answer.Why does everybody dream?Our brains don’t want to have a rest. Our brains are active when we are asleep.Our brains often think too much in daytime.5th listening Ss guess and discuss the questions.Q1: What do the dogs probably dream?Q2: What common dreams do humans have? Ss listen to the third part and finish the tasks.Tick the dog’s common dreams.Circle the humans ’common dreams. Ss do a survey in class. Ss read and complete the host’s ending with the words in the box. Ss discuss the question.Q: Do you believe that the host will go to work in pajamas and why? Ss make the outline of the poster by talking about two questions in pairs.Q1: What topics about dreams are you going to write on the poster?Q2: What do you know about each topic now? 通过朗读,学生模仿对话人物的语音语调。 在信息获取后,通过设置主持人结尾语这样一个延续课文的真实情景,让学以补全文章的形式实现对信息的进一步理解和内化。 通过回答问题使学生与文本产生积极互动,进一步内化细节信息。 通过谈论打算在海报上写关于梦的什么话题和相关内容为海报内容列提纲。PWCW18’ Homework Finish the poster and do the self-evaluation.
