一.含义： 表示过去某一时刻正在进行的动作，也可表示过去某一阶段正在进行的动作。二.构成： was/were+现在分词（第一第三人称用was，其他人称用were）三.句式结构： 肯定句：主语+was/were+现在分词+其他 否定句：主语+was/were nt +现在分词+其他 一般疑问句：Was/Were+主语+现在分词+其他？ 肯定回答：Yes,主语+was/were 否定回答：N,主语+wasn't/weren't 注意：第一第二人称进行转化时，be也随之发生变化

一.含义 在陈述句之后附加一个简短的问句，对陈述句所叙述的事实提出疑问或征求意见。二.构成 陈述句，+ 省略的疑问句（助动词/be动词/情态动词+人称代词）采取“前肯后否。前否后肯”的原则，即陈述句肯定，反义疑问句否定，陈述句否定，反义疑问句肯定。（注意：陈述部分有表示否定意义的词时，附加疑问句用肯定形式 hardly seldm never few little nthing，dislike等词只是带否定意义的词缀，仍表示肯定含义 Eg. Tm dislike the bk , desn’t he ?）前后两部分要在人称，数和时态方面保持一致。Eg. Kate and Jan can swim , can’t they ? Tm wn’t cme , will he ?
三.反义疑问句的答语1.事实是肯定的，用yes，事实是否定的，用n2.需要特别注意的是，在前否后肯的反义疑问句中，答语与汉语翻译不同，yes翻译成“不”，n翻译成“是”。Eg. Yu will never frget him , will yu ? Yes , I will . 不，我会忘记他。 N , I wn’t . 是的，我不会忘记。
四.反义疑问句的特殊用法1.陈述部分主语是I ，附加疑问句部分一般用aren’t I ?2.陈述部分主语是everyne，everybdy，smene，nbdy，n ne，smebdy等表示人的不定代词时，附加疑问句主语用he或they Nbdy wants t g there , des he ? / d they ?3.陈述部分主语是everything，anything，smething，nthing等表示物的不定代词时，附加疑问句主语用itEverything ges well , desn’t it ?4.陈述部分主语是this，that，these，thse等表示物的不定代词时，附加疑问句主语用it或theyThis is yur bk , isn’t it ?Thse are yur bks , aren’t they ?
