Nw Simntn and tw clleagues have finally tested that idea, publishing their results in Jurnal f Applied Psychlgy.
    The researchers lked at 379 male and female business leaders in 30 cuntries acrss fields including banking, retail and technlgy. The managers tk IQ tests and each was rated (划分等级) n the leadership style and effectiveness by an average f eight c­wrkers. The IQ psitively crrelated (相互关联) with ratings f leader effectiveness, strategy frmatin, visin and several ther characteristics—up t a pint. The ratings peaked at an IQ f arund 120, which is higher than rughly 80 percent f ffice wrkers. Beynd that, the ratings decreased.
