Presentation(1) Free talk. Show some pictures to practice “I’ve got.../I haven’t got...”.(2) New words. Show the pictures. Learn the new words of “knife, fork” and “chopsticks”. “A knife and fork” use one “a”. If it is the subject, the predicate verb is singular. “Chopsticks” is made up of “chop” and “sticks”. Learn the phrase of “a pair of chopsticks”. If it is the subject, the predicate verb depends on the forms of “pair”. Learn about the differences between Chinese cutlery and western cutlery. Give some example sentences to students.Show the pictures. Learn the new word of “Japanese”. It has three meanings. It’s made up of “Japan” and “ese”. Its plural form is itself. Give some example sentences to help understand. (3) Lead in. Show the pictures of Part 1. Ask “What have they got? ”(4) Watch and answer. Add a question “Where are they from?” Watch the video then have students answer the question. (5) Repeat with the video. Pay attention to the intonation and pronunciation.(6) Retell and act out. Retell Part 1 and act out the dialog in groups. Then choose the excellent groups to praise.(7) Lead in. Show the some pictures about Part 2. Practice the new words and phrases. Then ask the questions, “What has Lingling got? What has Sam got?”(8) Watch and answer. Watch the video then have students answer the questions. Show the answers to check. (9) Watch and repeat the dialog with the video.(10) Check. The questions are about Part 2. Judge right or wrong. If it is wrong, correct it.(11) Key points. Learn the differences between general questions and alternative interrogations. Pay attention to the intonation and the answers to the alternative interrogations. Give the example sentences to help understand. Show the mind map of alternative interrogations. Get students to know more about it.Practice. Use the sentence pattern of “Have you got ...or...?” to say sentences with the stationary. Learn some more usages of “or”. Sum up some phrases. Have students use different words to express the same meanings. Notice the changes of adjective and from+noun.(12) Practice. Fill in the blanks with “and, or”. Choose the right pictures of what Lingling and Sam have got.(13) Act out the dialog in groups. Then choose the excellent groups to praise.(14) Lead in. Show the picture of Part 3. Ask “Who are they? Where do they live? Who teaches them?”(15) Read and answer. Students read the passage then answer the questions and complete the sentences.(16) Key points. “Australia” added “n” is “Australian”. Learn the phrases of in the east/west/south/north. Notice the difference between some and any. Learn the phrase of “teach sb subjects”. Learn the phrases of “have classes, in the morning/afternoon/evening, go swimming, ride horses, would like to do and study Chinese history.(17) Retell the reading text. Practice (1) Sum up the useful phrases to recite. (2) Listen and learn to say. (3) Chant. It’s about the pen friend. First enjoy it. Then answer the questions. Next, learn some useful expressions. Repeat with it. (4) Practice. According to the pictures, say out what you have got or you haven’t got. Then work in pairs to express what you have or haven’t got. (5) Writing. Talk about the differences between you and your friend. Sum up some ways to talk about. First let students write himself/herself. Then intorduce his/her friend. Give an example composition to copy. (6) Choose. Choose the best answer for each sentence.(7) Phrases. Practice the phrases. First say them in English, then say them in Chinese. Know Learn about the differences between Chinese cutlery and western cutlery. At the same time, know about some table manners. 5.
