故事板块讲述了Zip和Zoom聊天，构思自己职业梦想的故事。除了复习巩固以前学过的表示建议的句型How about…? What about…? 之外，还巩固了本单元询问职业构想的句型What do you want to be?同时，还进一步深化了unusual job的概念，介绍了更多新奇、有趣的工作，如lion tamer, bee farmer, game tester, magician’s assistant, (nut cracker)。在语境中感受You are nuts！的含义。

教学目标：

认知目标：通过阅读趣味故事，复习巩固所学语言How about…? What about…?What do you want to be?,理解lion tamer, bee farmer, game tester, magician’s assistant, nut cracker，get stung, too dangerous的词义。

能力目标：

1.能使学生理解故事内容，了解如lion tamer等unusual job的概念；能按照正确的意群及语音、语调朗读故事。

2.能够运用I want to be…I like … I don’t like…I can…等学生已有的语言储备进行表述自己的职业构想。

3.在基于落实小学生英语学习核心素养的思维品质训练上，渗透阅读技能教学的略读、找读、推断功能。
