探究一：形容词副词最高级的基本用法
英语中三者或三者以上相比较，表示“最……” 这样的最高程度概念时，要用 “the+最高级” 的结构表示。这种句式一般带有表示比较范围的介词短语，比如: in ur class, f the three 等。
例如：Wang Lin is the tallest in ur class. This theater is the cheapest f the three.
形容词副词最高级的标志词
形容词副词的最高级常与介词in或f短语连用，说明比较范围。一般情况下，如果主语与介词短语中的名词属于同一类，用介词f；如果不是同一类，则用介词in。如： He is the tallest f these bys. Sam is the yungest in his class.
in后一般接表示单位或场所的名词; f后一般接表示一群人或事物的代词或名词。

形容词副词最高级前的修饰语
下列词或短语可修饰最高级：by far, far, much, mstly, almst。例如：This hat is nearly / almst the biggest. 这帽子差不多是最大的了。注意：a. very可修饰最高级，但位置与much不同This is the very best. = This is much the best.
形容词的最高级前可用序数词，二者共同修饰后面的名词，其结构为“the +序数词 + 形容词的最高级 + 名词”。如：The Yellw River is the secnd lngest river in China.
序数词通常只修饰最高级。例如：Africa is the secnd largest cntinent.非洲是第二大洲。
形容词最高级前通常必须用定冠词 the，若形容词mst前面没有the，在句中则不表示最高级的含义，只表示“非常”。

表示“三者（或以上）中最……的”的句型：
1. 主语 + be + the + 形容词最高级 + f/in短语 意为 “……是……中最……的”
e.g. Dream Clthes is the wrst in twn.

2.主语 + 实义动词 + （the）+ 副词最高级 + f/in短语 意为 “……是……中最……的”，
e.g. The DJs chse sngs the mst carefully.
音乐主持人选择音乐最细致。
Jim runs (the) fastest in his class.
形容词的最高级前一般要加定冠词the，当最高级前面有物主代词或名词所有格时， 不加定冠词 the。
例如：Tm is Lucy’s best friend. Tuesday is her busiest day.
形容最高级修饰作表语或介词宾语的名词，代词时，被修饰的词往往省略。例如：He is the laziest (student) in ur class.
副词最高级前定冠词the 可以省略。
形容词副词比较级和最高级的构成
一般情况下，单音节或双音节的形容词比较级直接加-er, 最高级直接加-est。如：
clever—cleverer—cleverest cheap—cheaper—cheapest few—fewer—fewestfast— faster—fastest high—higher—highest hard—harder—hardest
b. 以-e 结尾的形容词，比较级+ -r,最高级+ -st。如：
large—larger—largest nice—nicer—nicest cute—cuter—cutest
c. 以辅音字母+y结尾的形容词，变y为i +er或+est。
busy—busier—busiest heavy—heavier—heaviest easy—easier—easiest happy—happier—happiest dirty—dirtier—dirtiest
探究一：形容词副词比较级的用法。
d. 以重读闭音节结尾，末尾只有一个辅音字母结 尾的词，双写最后一个辅音字母，再加+er或 +est。 如：
big—bigger—biggest thin—thinner—thinnest fat—fatter—fattest
e. 多音节和部分双音节形容词，需在原级前+mre 构成比较级，+ mst 构成最高级。如：
serius—mre serius—mst serius imprtant—mre imprtant—mst imprtant beautiful—mre beautiful– mst beautiful difficult—mre difficult—mst difficult cmfrtably—mre cmfrtably—mst cmfrtably

1)比较范围：两者之间的比较，用 _____ 级；当比较范围是三者或三者以上时,用 ______级。 2)标志词:than 用于_____级；in…/f(+三者或以上)短语常用于 ___ 级。3)形容词最高级前必须加 ______.
