    Step 1: Warm-up
    1. Intrductin: Allw me t intrduce myself .My name is … Yu can call me “Mr. /Miss ××.”This semester I teach yu English .I hpe we culd get alng with each ther .First, let’s say “Hell!”

    Step2 Presentatin and practice.

    1. Hld up the mask fr Ann. Say, “Wh’s this?” Elicit the answer, “Ann”.
    2. Repeat this fr Ken, Mcky, and Ann.
    T: We are ging t meet sme new friends.
    Hld up the mask fr Peter and WangLing.
    Mdel the dialg.
    Then use Mcky’s mask and say. “My name’s Mcky.”
    3. Use any tw f the masks t practice.
    Step 4 Talk abut the stry.
    1. Have Ss pen the bks. Ask:
    Picture1: “Where are the children?”
    Picture2:“Wh sees them?”
    Picture3\4\5: “What is the mnkey ding?”
    Picture6: “Hw are they getting acrss the river?”
    Picture7\8:“Where are they all ging?”
    2. Have the class lk at the pictures in the bks as play the tape. Encurage the children t say the wrds.

    Encurage the Ss t practice greeting their family and friends in English.

    齐读并指名读,要求注意语音语调。
    2. 看图片说名字,分组或指名说。
    Step 2. Presentatin and practice.
    1. 学生看图片,用中文说一说这是什么?
    2. 激发兴趣,教说单词mrning.
    教师在学生用中文回答时,用英文说出短句,让学生跟读,理解意思。
    3.指名学生说,教师正音后齐读。
    4. 带领学生做游戏,反复练习,让学生观察 mrning这张图片,再认读。

    (1) Have the class lk at the pictures at the tp f the page and pint t the character.

    Step 4. Sing a sng.
    1. Have the Ss pen the bks.

    Read the wrds t the Ss, pint t each wrds.
    5. Cntinue until all the Ss have sung their English names.
    2. Play the first six lines f the sng several times, and encurage the Ss t jin in by singing. Then ask the Ss tuch the wrds as their sing alng.
    3. Play the last tw lines f the sng. Ask the Ss t sing these lines using their wn English names.
    4. Play the tape frm the beginning. The Ss sing the first six lines tgether. Fr the last tw lines, the Ss sing their English names.
    Step 5. Hmewrk:
    1. Sing the sng and encurage the Ss t practice greeting their family and friends in English.

    Step 2. Presentatin:
    1. T: Lk at the first picture, wh is this?
    The Ss shuld answer, “Ken”
    2. Repeat fr the ther three pictures.
    3. Play the tape. Have the Ss number each picture.
    4. Then check the answer.
    Step 3. Game Time
    1、Have Ss turn t the tp f page 6.
    Display the page and mdel the dialg, pinting t the matching character as yu speak.
    Have the girls say the wrds spken by Miss Li and Lily and the bys say David’s wrds.
    2、T: OK, let’s mve t the next part.
    Tell Ss that yu are ging t play a tape. Explain that yu want them t listen t the tape and tuch the crrect characters when they hear them say, “Hell”.
    Play the tape and have Ss tuch the crrect pictures.
    3、Take ut sme cards fr the letters “A、B 、C、D.”
    Play the tape, pint t the matching picture f the wrd.
    At last, play the tape again and have Ss say the wrds alud.
    Repeat the prcedure fr letters BCD.
    4、Give sme time t remember the wrds.
    5、Have Ss turn t the black and white cpy f Uncle Bky’s ABC. They can trace ver the letters ABCD and clr the picture.

    3. Hld up the “what’s yur name?”drill card and read it t the Ss, pinting t the wrds as yu read them.
    4. Have Ss repeat the questin after yu. In the same way, review “My name’s…” and “My name is…”
    Say the wrds f the questin and answer as yu pint t each ne. Divide the class int tw grups. Have ne grup repeat the questins, and the ther grup repeat the answers.
    Step 2. Presentatin:
    1、Hld up picture cards fr “Cat and dg”, “Ball and apple”.
    T: Say “Hell” t them. Hell, cat. Hell, dg.
    Make sure Ss can say these things when given a picture.
    Read the rhyme t Ss, pinting t each wrd.
    Play the tape fr the rhyme and have Ss listen and pint t the wrds n the page.
    2、Put pictures f dg, cat, ball and apple n the bard. Ask Ss t pint t these pictures when listening t the tape again.
    3. Play the games t practice the wrds.

    1. Clr the letters n page 8
    2. Teach the Ss hw t write the letters “ABCD”
    3. Trace and Cpy the letters.
