Thrugh chatting, I learned that they had all been lnging t read and write but never had the chance t g t schl. As the bell rang, in came the teacher, a wman well past frty. After a warm and brief greeting, we started ur lessn. First we learned t read the alphabet and thugh I made mistakes at times, n ne laughed at me. Everyne helped each ther with pen­hearted enjyment.
    I'm still ging t schl. Thugh faced with the mst challenging event f my life, I'm full f curage and cnfidence. With the generus help f my teacher, friends and my children, I have made huge prgress in study. Nw I'm never shy abut admitting the truth that nce I was nt able t read and write at all. Besides, I'm eager t encurage mre elderly peple t attend the adult educatin classes, because it's never t late t learn.
