“Oh, yes，” said the elder brther. “I d have a jb fr yu. Lk acrss the creek (小溪) at that farm. That's my neighbur, in fact, it's my yunger brther. Last week there was a meadw (草地) between us and he tk his bulldzer (推土机) t the riverside and nw there is a creek between us. Well, he may have dne this t upset me, but I'll d him ne better.”
He cntinued, “See that pile f lumber (木材)by the barn? I want yu t build me a fence — an eight-ft fence — s I wn't need t see his place r his face any mre.”
The carpenter said，“I think I understand the situatin. Shw me the nails and sme ther tls and I'll be able t d a jb that pleases yu.”
The lder brther had t g t twn, s he helped the carpenter get the materials ready and then he was ff fr the day.
The carpenter wrked hard all that day measuring, sawing (锯) and nailing. At sunset when the farmer returned, the carpenter had just finished his jb.

They turned back t see the carpenter, and fund that he was leaving with his tlbx. “N, wait. Stay anther few days. I have many ther jbs fr yu，” said the elder brther. The carpenter smiled, “I'd like t stay n, but I have many mre bridges t build.”
