一、教材分析
本单元的主要话题是继续谈论月份和节日，以介绍七至十二月中的节日为中心展开学习，同时对于序数词进行巩固复习。第25至28课主要内容为七至十月和第七至第十的序数词，以及这四个月中的节日介绍。第29课通过语篇让学生们初步感知十一、十二月以及其中的节日。而第30主要是进一步巩固、深化、熟练运用第29课的内容，掌握Nvember和December，Thanksgiving，Christmas, Nvember is the eleventh mnth f the year. December is the twelfth and last mnth f the year.词句。学习序数词eleventh 和twelfth的变化规律达到灵活运用的目的。
二、教学目标
1．巩固深化以下表示月份的词汇和句子：Nvember，December，Nvember is the eleventh mnth f the year. December is the twelfth and last mnth f the year. 能够以听、说、读，写形式进行交流。
2. 进一步理解表示节日的词语：Thanksgiving，Christmas并能够运融合以前所学的语言与同学分享交流感恩节、圣诞节的特征及所进行的活动。
3. 通过参加布置新一期“国际理解教育”（我校特色项目）长廊的活动，运用所学，制作完成思维导图，实现在真实的情境中运用语言，培养语用能力和小组合作能力，达到能够用英语做事情的目的。
三、教学重难点：
1．巩固深化以下表示月份和节日的词汇和短语：Nvember，December，last, December is the last mnth f the year. 能够以听、说、读，写形式进行交流。
2. 能够运用本课所学语句融合以前所学的语言与同学分享交流十一、十二的特点及十一月、十二月节假日中的活动。
四、学情分析
在第19至28课学习后，我们一直通过思维导图进行知识总结，学生们对于这种学习方式非常感兴趣。这种形式培养了学生富有创意思维的思维素养。通过前面的学习，学生们对于一至十月和其中的节日及其所做的活动已经能够很好的掌握，并能够拓展出一些书中没有提到的节日和月份中的活动，从而落实课程标准规定的培养学生文化意识的目的。

2. 制作自己个性化的思维导图，培养学生用英语做事情的能力。

通过展示我校国际理解教育长廊（二楼）照片，让学生对国际理解有进一步的认识，为师生一起进行下期长廊布置活动做铺垫。
回顾1-10月思维导图，复习表示1-10月的词汇，为展开新的学习做铺垫。
选取不同月份的导图作品进行着重展示，鼓励学生描述导图内容，激活学生描述月份需要表达的语言。
交代本节课的学习任务，继续学习11月和12月，并用思维导图总结课堂知识。
交代任务，通过为国际理解教育长廊制作新墙报，激发学习学习兴趣。让学生感受到英语学习在实际生活中的作用。

通过小组讨论再交流的方式复习29课中对Nvember（11月）的介绍，为进一步学习Nvember做铺垫。此步骤模拟思维导图第一层形式，帮助学生初步建立11月思维导图模型。
选择拼读的方法，学习Nvember的拼写，让学生在会读的基础上可以自然拼出单词。
通过复习Octber is the ten mnth f the year. 引出序数词eleventh的学习。以个人， 小组，全班的形式分阶段练习，掌握the eleventh mnth f the year 。
此步骤借助白板技术，呈现“魔镜”效果，学生通过对比观察发现基数词（eleven）变序数词(eleventh)的规律
教师提问引出Thanksgiving（感恩节）， 复习29课所学的感恩节的时间。此步骤班内学生在白板圈出Thanksgiving，调动学生主动参与活动的兴趣。
拓展Canada（加拿大）关于感恩节的知识，通过听读信件内容，找到答案，可以提高学生听后定位关键词的能力。
观看视频，让学生了解西方国家在感恩节的活动。学生观看后进行小组讨论，交流获得的信息，最后在班内交流时，师生一起补充本课学习初时思维导图内容，让学生一直保持总结归纳意识。
简短交流我们在感恩节时进行的活动，借此引导学生在日常生活应用行动体现感恩，将感恩体现在每天，培养学生好品质。
飘雪和圣诞树动态照片渲染12月的到来，询问学生是否喜欢December及理由，一方面复习29课所学关于December的知识，另一方面激发学生深入学习December的兴趣。
沿用拼读法让学生学会拼读拼写December。
复习序数词eleventh的同时，引出twelfth。通过“魔镜”变化，直观感受特殊变化规律。教师白板展示vef+th过程。此外复习fivefifth,将此类变化形式的序数词汇总。
借助在五月进行运动会跑步项目比赛的情景，对比本课复习和学习的基数词与序数词：five，fifth，eleven，eleventh，twelve，twelfth，让学生巩固知识，学会在真实情境中运用。
通过观察跑步比赛选手到达顺序，对比the first（第一）和the last（最后）。引出 January（一月）对应the first（第一）启发学生December 是the last mnth（最后一个月）学习 the last。
提出问题，引出Christmas 的学习，首先复习29课关于Christmas 的旧知识。其中引出圣诞节日期的学习，其次借助阅读补充圣诞节的文化知识。
在阅读过程中，学生首先自己阅读，然后带着三个问题与小组讨论，最后全班交流，了解南北半球不同季节下圣诞节的庆祝方式。让学生感受国际理解教育的含义。
继续完成调查表，通过完成调查问卷总结本节课的知识。
学习chant中igh的发音，学生反复诵读，感受igh在词中发音。
小组制作思维导图
制作完成后展示谈论，培养学生的语用能力。
布置本节课作业，鼓励学生继续完成思维导图并且与同班同学分享导图内容，交流信息，学会信息共享。
