    学情分析:The students have learned most of the words in this unit before and they are also familiar with the topic of talking about the classroom,so it's not difficult for them to talk about the classroom.

     

    教学目标及达成率:

    1.90% students will be able to master the numbers and other words about the topic,such as blackboard,furniture,television and so on.

    2.80% students will be able to talk about their classroom with the vocabulary and the sentence structures There be ...”“Is/Are there ...?”“How many ...?”“What's ... like?

    Language and teaching focuses

    1. Words and phrases:

    furniture,television,forty,a map of ... and at the front of ...

    1. Sentence structures:

    There be(affirmative,negative and interrogative), how many ...

    Anticipated difficulties

    Students may feel it difficult to

    1. Spell some words like furniture and television.
    2. Use is or are when students use the sentence structureThere be.

    教学过程:

    Step 1. Warm up and Lead-in

    1. Enjoy a number song and review the numbers.
    2. The teacher shows the numbers quickly and the students read them as quickly as  

    possible to consolidate the numbers.

    Step 2. Pre-listening

    1.Present new words and sentence structures

    The teacher shows pictures of different things in a picture of a classroom and present

    new words in the new sentence pattern: There is ... /There are some...

    1. Talk about the pictures in activity 1 with the new words and the sentences. And the teacher asks some questions which are in the new sentence pattern: Is there ...? Are there any...?

    Step 3. Listening 1

    Listen to the tape and answer two questions. How many students are there in Linda's classroom? Which picture is the Linda's classroom?

    Step 4. Practice

    Ask and answer in pairs according to the table in Activity 7.

    Step 5. Listening 2

    1. Listen to the dialogue in activity 3 and complete the table.
    2. Listen again and answer the questions about more details.

    Q1: How many computers are there in Linda's classroom?

    Q2: Where are the pictures in Linda's classroom?

    Step 6. Post-listening

    1.Imitate and them have a role-play.

    2.Learn important sentences and phrases.

    3.Talk about which classroom the students like better and tell the   

    reasons.

    1. Production

    First, the teachers asks the students if they like their classroom and tell the reasons. Then students talk about your ideal classroom in pairs.

    Step 7. Exercises

    1. Listen and repeat the words in activity 4.
    2. Students do Exercises.

    作业布置:

    Must: 1. write the underlined sentences and phrases twice.

    2. Recite the conversation in Activity 3.

    3. Finish the exercise of M3U1 in Keshitexun.

    Optional: Write at least 5 sentences to introduce your classroom.
