一般过去时(The Simple Past Tense)
主语+动词过去式+其它
表示过去发生的动作,或者存在的状态。与表示过去的时间状语连用。
The Simple Past Tense(一般过去时)

规则动词改为过去式的方法有:
②以不发音的e结尾的,
③以辅音字母加y结尾的,
④以“一个元音字母+一个辅音字母”结尾,该音节又重读的,
变y为i, 再加ed。
末尾字母要双写再加ed.
1)在清辅音后读/t/ . 如:helped, liked, watched.2)在浊辅音和元音后读/d/. 如:lived, listened.3)在/t/和/d/的后面读/id/. 如:wanted, tasted.
