单元名称Unit 8 There Is No Easy Path to Success 课型For Better Performance教学目标能够了解一些重要词汇，如fitter, lineman, welder, driller, high precision, be equivalent to, every other year, WorldSkills Competition等；能够听懂优秀工匠人物介绍，并获取姓名、职业、特点等关键信息；能够归纳和概括文本介绍人物的句型，口头介绍一位工匠。2. 能够了解有关优秀人物介绍的逻辑结构，分析归纳其中的要点，并进行知识迁移，介绍一位工匠。3. 能够理解在平凡的岗位上也可以取得不平凡的成就；通过了解世界技能大赛，结合自己的专业和技能，理解本专业所需的技能和素养，树立良好的职业自信心。4. 通过对文章语言素材的归纳概括，提炼出通用句型框架，提升概括归纳能力以及自主学习能力。能够运用网络搜索等手段查找所需信息。将所学知识在实践中运用，实现知识迁移。教学重点1. 能够通过关键词听懂人物介绍的大概内容并做出正确匹配。2. 学会归纳和概括文本介绍人物的句型，并将其在实践中运用，实现能力迁移。教学难点能够通过查找网络等手段分享更多大国工匠的一些基本信息，并能描述自己所能参加的技能比赛和要求。并将其进行准确口头表达或书面表达。 教学方法小组讨论法、任务教学法、情境教学法教学手段PPT课件、多媒体设备等教学过程教学环节与时间分配教学活动与步骤设计意图评价要点Warm-up2’Review the words of jobs we learned in the previous part of this unit. 复习旧知，引到新知。准确说出本节课之前，这个单元中所学职业的单词。Pre-listening3’1. Show the students pictures of a fitter, a welder, a lineman and a driller, and these words.Guess the meaning of each word. 通过图片猜测词义，为听力扫清障碍认识并能读出这些单词2. Ask the students to skim the task of activity one and underline the key words. 通过扫读，明确任务，划出关键词，为听力做好准备了解关键词While-listening5’Ss listen to the recording about four craftsmen and finish the match work.
