展开Unit 1 Personal and Family Life(2) Reading and Writing一、教材分析本课教学内容选自教材Unit 1读写部分,要求学生能读懂有关个人与家庭生活的文章,并能就关键信息对比分析,了解中西方家庭价值观的差异,完成介绍中西方家庭生活的短文写作。二、学情分析经过前两节课的学习,学生已能根据情境选用得体的用语打招呼,能够使用常见句型介绍个人及家庭成员的基本情况。与此同时,学生基本了解中华传统家庭价值观,但对于中西方家庭价值观的差异缺乏对比分析和系统认识。三、教学目标1. 学生能读懂有关个人与家庭生活的文章,并根据需要提取关键信息进行对比, 分析, 判断;2. 学生能准确使用描述家庭成员与家庭特点的恰当词汇与句型,如:energetic, be strict with, handmade等,完成介绍中西方家庭生活的短文写作;3. 通过对比分析,学生能理解中华传统家庭价值观,客观地看待中西方家庭价值观的差异性,传播中华优秀家庭文化;4. 学生能够通过自我评价与课后总结反思,养成良好的学习习惯,提高语言学习和应用能力。四、教学重点、难点分析教学重点:能熟悉并掌握描述家庭成员与家庭特点的常用词汇与句型,能就中西方家庭生活进行简单写作。教学难点:能通过提取阅读文段中的关键信息,了解中西方家庭价值观的异同,并进行相关主题的简单写作。五、教学过程Before class:* 1. 拓展活动: 学生课前完成教师发布的有关家庭生活和居住习惯等方面情况的调查问卷。问卷内容如下:(1) Who do you live with?A. Parents. B. Grandparents. C. Parents and grandparents.(2) Do you do sports with your parents?A. Yes. B. No.(3) Are your parents strict with you?A. Yes. B. No.(4) Can you keep pets?A. Yes. B. No.During class:Step 1 Preview1. 展示全家福并介绍自己的家人。* 2. 拓展活动:邀请“最得体”“最具魅力”“最有创意”配音作品获奖者依次在全班展示,师生点评。Step 2 Pre-reading1. Think and discuss. 处理教材活动9。(1)学生根据自身情况讨论更喜欢和谁住在一起,为后续阅读活动做铺垫。*(2)拓展活动:教师展示课前问卷的统计数据,学生讨论并回答问题:Why do you want to live with your parent(s) or grandparent(s)?Do you like your family life?(设计意图:本环节首先通过回答与家庭情况相关问题、演练对话,复习前两节课的内容,检测学生的学习效果,旨在引导学生通过问答分享各自家庭的居住习惯,进一步加深对中国家庭价值观的理解,从而为阅读下文中的家庭简介、体会中西家庭文化的差异做铺垫。)Step 3 While-reading1. Read and match. 处理教材活动12。学生细读家庭简介,根据两个家庭的不同特点,分析并推测以下情形可能发生在哪一个家庭,并进行匹配。(1) Mother helps children with their homework in the evening.(2) Children watch TV with grandparents on the weekend.(3) Children play with their little dog after school.(4) Father buys a birthday gift for grandmother.(5) Family get together for Chongyang Festival.(6) Family members hold a birthday party at home. (设计意图:本环节通过分析中西方家庭特点,在此基础上预测家庭相处情形并做出判断,培养学生分析关键信息,进行推理判断的能力。)Step 5 = 3 \* ROMAN Writing 1. Read and write. 处理教材活动13。学生仿照阅读材料,运用所学语言知识写出能说明中西方家庭不同的生活方式与家庭理念的简短文段。*(1)铺垫活动:找出活动 11中比较中西方家庭价值观念的异同所用到的关键句型。live in the same community 住在同一个社区cook and have lunch together 一起做饭、吃饭love children爱孩子们be strict with their children 对孩子们非常严格live alone in her own house 一个人住在她自己的房子里go jogging every evening 每天晚上回去慢跑(2)头脑风暴:学生通过对比归纳中西方家庭价值观念的异同结合所找到的关键句型,描述两个家庭的特点。参考答案:Zhang Yuchen’s Family: Whole FamilyYuchen’s family pay more attention to the whole family.For example, they live in the same community, and cook and have lunch with grandparents almost every Saturday.
