    Unit 3 Artificial Intelligence 教学设计(一)第一、第二课时 Listening and Speaking一、教材分析本单元教学内容节选自《英语3基础模块》中Unit 3 Artificial Intelligence的Warming up和Listening and Speaking,听说部分是关于人工智能应用的场景和表达赞同与反对的词汇句型,通过学习,学生能听懂对话内容,总结主题信息,并在此基础上,学生能将语言知识和口语表达技能迁移到真实语境中。二、学情分析学生具备基本的网络和计算机应用场景表达并且对未来科技感兴趣,尤其是本单元涉及的人工智能话题,但是关于人工智能的相关英文表达不清楚,因此教师对教学活动应进行合理的设计,将真实情境代入到语境中,由易到难,由简到繁,逐步铺设台阶,把学生可能遇到的困难挫折降到最低。三、教学目标After leaning this lesson,students can通过本课的学习,学生能够1.understand the key information about AI and summarize the topic. 听懂关于人工智能应用场景的关键信息,概括主题;identify the language which expressing pros and cons in the dialogue.识别对话中表达赞同与反对的语言,培养思维差异感知能力;be able to put forward their own views and respond each other's views on AI. 就人工智能在生活中应用的话题,提出自己的看法,回应对方的观点;4. dialectical view of influence on scientific and technological development.辩证的看待科技发展带来的影响。四、教学重点、难点分析教学重点:识别并表达赞同与反对的句型。教学难点:能根据细节信息识别对话场景,然后进行信息转述,模仿练习。教学过程Before class课前: 将学生分成四个小组,每个小组成员分别准备人工智能的相关图片、视频等,课上分享。During class课中:Step 1 Warming Up1. 铺垫活动: Brainstorm.激活学生思维: T: Let's share the pictures and videos prepared by the students before class教师分享课前各小组准备的关于人工智能的图片和视频,以激活学生思维。 *(2)微课呈现:教师提前准备相关人工智能微课T: Let's take a look at a micro class to better understand what artificial intelligence is?2. Look and match.处理教材活动1。本活动呈现了4个人工智能的应用场景,每个小组分别用自己的语言简单描述一个场景,并在小组内调查哪些成员见到或者体验过图片中的场景。 T: Have you ever seen or experienced such a scene?完成人工智能应用的场景图片与对应描述相匹配,教师点名各小组代表描述图片。*(2)小组组长总结本组调查结果,例如S:Five students in our group have used mobile payment......No students have experienced robots putting car parts together......调查问卷3. Think and tick.(1)处理教材活动2。学生观察下面4个句子勾选出表示不赞同的句子*(2)教师补充一些表示赞同与不赞同的句子,学生进行归类教师可以问一些关于人工智能方面的问题巩固赞同不赞同句型T: Artificial intelligence will replace human beingsS: I couldn’t agree more/I am not really sure about thatT: Mobile payment is more convenient than cash paymentS: I am all for that/I don’t agree with youT: The brand of mobile phone is very importantS: That’s a great point/ I am not sure that’s correct(设计意图:本环节旨在激活学生关于人工智能场景图片的词汇储备,表达赞同与不赞同的句型,创设新的关于人工智能方面情景来巩固句型,为下一环节的听力活动做语言储备。)Step 2 Listening 观看汽车厂机器人组装汽车的动图We can see robots putting different parts of a car together on the assembly line.观看机器人在饭店工作的图片We can see robots are serving the customers.1. Listen and tick. 处理教材活动3。学生在听前读选项,预测听力内容。教师讲解生词,帮助学生理解选项内容。然后听录音,结合选项选择主题,并对听力材料从整体上进行把握和判断。听后教师检查并反馈。T:What’s the topic of the dialogue?2. Listen and choose. 处理教材活动4。学生首先观察图片,进行初步判断。然后听录音,抓关键词,选择对话中提到的场景。听后教师检查并反馈。T: Please observe the following four pictures. While listening, please pay attention to the key words and choose the scene mentioned in the dialogue.•tour n.旅游;游览;参观;观光;巡视v.在…旅游;在…巡回演出(或做宣传广告等)tourism n.旅游业;观光业 记忆技巧:tour 旅游 + ism 行为,现象,状态 → 旅游touristn.旅行者;游客;旅游者;观光者;(在国外参加)巡回比赛的运动队队员•assembly 装配n.装配;集会;(全校师生的)晨会,朝会•line n.线;线条;界线assembly line n.装配线;(工厂的)流水线3. Listen and complete. 处理教材活动5,本活动要求学生在前两个活动的基础上,听第三遍录音,以第一人称的角度补全Mary对听力内容进行转述。(1)个人活动,学生通读短文,完成参观汽车厂经历的短文(2)全部活动,教师点名检查,让学生通读短文给出答案,并给予反馈。T: Listen to the tape for the third time and fill in the suitable words.(设计意图:本环节旨在训练学生根据已有的信息预测听力内容,在听的过程中获取和归纳关键信息,侧重培养学生语言沟通能力和语言交互能力,通过改变叙述角度重新组织语言,培养职场语言沟通能力与逻辑表达能力。)Step 3 Speaking1. Listen, read and underline.处理教材活动6。本活动为听力后的第一个口语活动,要求学生模仿语音语调跟读并标出表示赞同与不赞同的句子,为后面的模仿练习做输入准备。小组活动:学生听录音并跟读,注意模仿语音语调,教师也可以邀请每个小组两位学生进行对话练习T: Please follow and imitate the pronunciation and intonation of the dialogue, after that, I will invite two students from each group to practice the dialogue.个人活动:学生用线画出表示赞同与不赞同的句子 T: Please underline the sentences of pros and cons.教师就对话中的重点词句进行讲解,尤其是对话中分词做定语的判断与表达•There was no one working in the screen factory we visited this morning. 我们上午参观的屏幕制造工厂一个工人都没有。“working in the screen factory”是现在分词短语作后置定语,修饰“one”。“we visited this morning”为定语从句,修饰“factory”。We can only see robots putting parts of the screen together. 我们只看到机器人把不同的屏幕零件组装起来。“putting parts of the screen together”是现在分词作宾语补足语,与宾语“robots”一起作“see”的复合宾语,及see sb doing sth 的结构。•Look around,there are no servers serving too! 你看这家餐馆,也是没有一个服务生!“serving”为现在分词作后置定语,修饰“servers”。•And it is said that all the dishes cooked by robots are as delicious as those made by chefs.而且据说机器人做的菜都和厨师做的一样美味呢。“it is said that”据说“cooked by robots”和“made by chefs”均为过去分词短语作后置定语,分别修饰“dishes”和“ those”.•It is humans that design and control robots. 机器人也是人设计和控制的。“It is…that…”为强调句型,此处强调的为主语部分。去掉“It is…that”之后句子依然完整,由此可判断是否为强调句。被强调部分可以是主语、宾语、表语。•To be honest, I prefer the traditional restaurants. 说实话我更喜欢传统餐馆。“To be honest”意为“老实说,说实话”,用于口语表达。近义词有“to tell you the truth”“to be frank”。• We will have more time to enjoy our life.我们将有更多的时间享受生活。 “to enjoy our life”是不定式做后置定语修饰time• In terms of 依据,根据...来说,在...方面2. Imitate and practice. 处理教材活动7。(1)小组活动:指定每两组同学描述一个图片场景,根据相关语言和图片信息,参照活动6的形式进行对话练习,教师再邀请每小组内的搭档进行对话展示,根据下面的评价表,评出最佳搭档。Practice the dialogue based on the situations.参考对话:A: I have seen a robot receptionist working in the department store. It is amazing! B: Oh, yes, we can see the robot receptionist never gets bored of welcoming customers. A: AI is used in many fields now and our life is getting more enjoyable and convenient. B: I agree with you. Look around, it's all robot receptionists in department stores. A: AI is used in many fields now and our life is getting more enjoyable and convenient. B: In terms of costs and efficiency, we are one the same page.对话练习活动评价表参考评分:非常满意10分,满意8分,基本满意6分3. Role play. 处理教材活动8,通过活动6语料范本操练和活动7模仿练习,学生已经掌握了有关人工智能产品应用话题基本语言表达,在以上活动的基础上,本活动要求学生对语言知识和语言表达迁移到真实语境中,以角色扮演的形式进行自主练习,此活动中角色人物,分别是销售人员、妻子和丈夫三个角色进行练习,培养学生的职场语言沟通能力和职业素养。参考对话:Sales Person: Good morning. What can I do for you?Peter Jackson: I want to buy a sweeping robot for my wife, because the sweeping robot can help her with the housework.Sales Person: OK, the sweeping robot is easy operation and super quiet while working.Peter Jackson: How long can the sweeping robot last?Sales Person: It can be rechargeable 2500mAh Li-battery, so it lasts about 24 hours.Zhang Qian: The robots are not humans after all. It doesn't work like a human.Sales Person: It is the latest design. It can be remote controlled by Bluetooth. Peter Jackson: I will take it.
