第六课时 Culture Understanding & Group Work
一、教材分析
本节课整合了教材的Culture Understanding与Group Work板块。Culture Understanding板块介绍了一些国家为防止自然灾害频发所采取的一些环保措施,如通过燃油汽车、飞机向电动汽车、电动飞机的转型,减少有害气体排放,从而达到保护环境、节约能源的目的,阐明了可持续发展对人类和对大自然的重要性,呼吁节能环保。Group work板块中,学生将运用本单元所学完成真实任务,检验学习成果。学生通过制作环境保护海报,检验本单元学生的职场语言沟通能力、思维差异感知能力、跨文化理解能 力和自主学习能力目标达成情况。
二、学情分析
经过前面3课时的学习,学生已经基本掌握了常见自然灾害的名称和发生的原因,为接下来的小组活动奠定了基础。由于学生接触的语料比较少,对于一些国家实施的节能环保举措了解较少,在语言输出方面比较缺乏语言素材。个别学生认为环境保护和自己实际生活没有太太关系,缺乏环境保护的意识。
在实际的教学中,教师应有意识的给学生传达“地球村”、“人类命运共同体”的概念,从小事做起,每个人都能在“环境保护”这一全人类的共同使命中中贡献一份自己的绵薄之力。
三、 教学目标

通过本课的学习,学生能够
1. understand the necessity of implementing green transportation and list new green transportation modes.
通过阅读一些国家的节能环保举措,了解推行绿色交通的必要性,列举新型的绿色交通方式。
2. list specific measures of environmental protection, realize the importance of environmental protection, and establish the concept of sustainable development, By collecting and sorting out data, students are supposed to list common natural disasters, analyze the causes.
通过收集整理资料,列举常见的自然灾害,分析原因,列举环境保护的具体措施,感知环境保护的重要性,建立“可持续发展”的理念。
3.integrate learning resources, test learning results, and enhance their autonomous learning ability and environmental awareness by making posters on the theme of environmental protection通过制作环境保护的主题海报,整合学习资源,检验学习成果,提升学生的自主学习能力和环保意识。
4. develop good learning habits and improve language learning and application ability by summarizing and reflecting learning methods and strategies through self-evaluation.通过自我评价总结反思学习方法和策略,养成良好的学习习惯,提高语言学习和应用能力。
四、教学重难点分析
重点:整理常见的自然灾害,分析原因,列举环境保护的具体措施。
难点:通过收集整理资料,讨论、合作完成环保海报。

What are the hazards of fuel vehicles? 燃油车有什么危害?
Why do many countries advocate green transportation? 为什么很多国家倡导绿色交通?
Possible answer:
Automobiles generally use gas as a power source, which emits CO2 and other exhaust gases, which is one of the causes of air pollution, global warming and acid rain.
The urban traffic problem is outstanding. The traffic is more and more crowded, it is difficult to drive and park, and the air pollution is becoming more and more serious……Therefore, how to make the development of transportation system in line with the future, environmental protection is one of the key points, in this context, the concept of green transportation came into being.

方式1:教师可设计随机卡片,请学生翻译,考察学生是否能快速识别单词;
方式2:教师可利用希沃白板放大镜功能,突出显示词汇云中的单词,请学生快速识别单词;
方式3:教师可利用UMU平台,请学生将本单元核心词汇打在弹幕上,形成班级词汇云。
2. 根据本单元所学,填写表格对自己的表现进行评价。
