乌卢鲁巨石又名艾尔斯巨石，是目前世界上最大的巨石，由风沙雕琢而成，呈椭圆形。长3600米，宽约2000米，高348米，高出周围荒漠平原335米。基围约8800米。巨石整体呈红色，如巨兽卧地，格外醒目。
峡谷被科罗拉多河穿绕，它全长446公里，是世界上最长的峡谷之一。峡谷顶宽6至28公里，最深处1800米。谷底水面不足 1000米宽，夏季冰雪融水，水深增至18米。山石多为红色。
金汉宫(Buckingham Palace)是英国君主位于伦敦的主要寝宫及办公处。宫殿坐落在威斯敏斯特，是国家庆典和王室欢迎礼举行场地之一，也是一处重要的旅游景点。
