【课标要求】

本单元的主题是人与自我,讲述了伟大女性的故事，涉及的话题包括伟大女性应具备的品质，通过阅读Jane Goodal和林巧稚的故事认识如何才能成就一位伟大的女性，明确社会责任理解生命的意义与价值

【学习目标】

1. 通过浏览国内外几位著名女性的生平、主要事迹，了解他们的社会贡献，并能用所学词汇简单描述Warming Up中六位女性的贡献，提高学生的口语表达能力。

2. 观察文章标题和图片，推测文章大意，通过略读能提取关键信息来归纳段落大意，概括中心内容；通过细读能针对阅读内容提出问题，抓住行文逻辑，提升发现问题、分析问题的能力。

3. 通过阅读故事了解女性成功会遇到更大的困难，认识伟大女性应具备的品质，体会不同性别获得成功的难度差异，形成尊重女性的意识和态度。

4. 通过归类分析，发现本单元的语法特征，体会该语法在不同情境中的运用，提高语法的运用能力，发展对知识的应用意识和能力。

5. 通过讨论与交流，认识生活中的伟大女性，结合课本体会描写人物外貌和性格特征的写作手法，提升写作水平。
