一般过去时，表示过去发生的动作或存在的状态。主语后的动词要用过去式。如 is—was; clean—cleaned; watch—watched

详解 “一般过去时”
一般过去时表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态，常和表示过去的时间状语连用，如：yesterday, last weekend等。动词的形式为动词过去式。我们来看一下吧。

①含有be动词的一般过去时
肯定式 主语+be动词(was/were) + 其他.
否定式 主语+be动词(was/were) nt + 其他.
一般疑问句 be动词（was/were) + 主语 + 其他?
肯定回答: Yes, I was (yu/they were).
否定回答: N, I wasn't (yu/they weren't).
②含实义动词的一般过去时
肯定式 主语+动词过去式+其他.
否定式 主语+didn't(did nt的缩写）+动词原形+其他.
一般疑问句 Did+主语+动词原形+其他?
肯定回答：Yes, 主语+did.
否定回答：N, 主语+didn't.

如何询问对方周末过得怎么样
课本原句：—Hw was yur weekend? —It was gd, thank yu.
本句是一般过去时的特殊疑问句，由于询问的是过去的事，所以be动词要用过去式形式was。其答语分为两种，肯定回答可以用“It was gd/OK/fine, thank yu.”,否定回答可以用“Nt very gd.”。
如何问答“过去做了什么？”
课本原句：—What did yu d? —Well, I stayed at hme with yur grandma.
句型结构：问句 What did+主语+d(+过去时间)? 答语：主语+动词过去式(+其他).
询问对方在过去的时间里是否做了某事
课本原句：—Did yu d anything else? —Yes, I cleaned my rm and washed my clthes.
句型结构：问句：Did +主语+动词原形+其他？ 答语： Yes, 主语+did./N,主语+didn't.
—Did yu d anything else?
did 在句首为助动词，后接动词原形；谓语是实义动词的一般过去时的一般疑问句，无论句中的主语是第几人称，是单数还是复数，都用did来引导。
含有实义动词的一般过去时的肯定句变为一般疑问句：
肯定句： She washed clthes. 她洗衣服了。
一般疑问句： Did she wash clthes?她洗衣服了吗？
注意：当肯定句的主语是I/we时，在一般疑问句中要变为yu,如：We watched TV last night. Did yu watch TV last night?
