When I was younger,I thought I would live in Shanghai forever. But after moving around for several years,I found that things were different from what I had thought before.
I moved from the busy downtown to the countryside around Shanghai when I started elementary school. At first,I thought I was going to hate it,but to my surprise,I found that I preferred the quiet country life over the noisy city life.
The next move was more of a surprise for me.I was having a good time with my friends at school. But all of a sudden,my mom told me that we were going to move to the United States. Can you imagine how 1 must have felt?My English wasn't so good, though I did know the basics.

Time flew by and it had been almost four years since I moved.I had new friends, different classes, and many projects to work on.Then again,we moved to Singapore.I have been going to school for about two and a half months.I found out the education here is quite special.
This made me stressed I was confused about the new curriculum (课程),and I knew it would take me a long time to adapt (适应).But what I've got out of my experience over three countries is that no matter where you are studying, you are always learning. And a piece of advice to people who are going to move around the globe:It's always best to just roll (转动) with it.

We'll finally grow up someday, leaving our parents and facing the challenges in life.,Parents may not be able to solve every problem for us.Instead,we should have enough life skills to deal with the problems that come our way.
This is what our country tries to do now:Helping more students gain(获得) working spirit. To stress the importance of hardworking spirit education among students of different ages, the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the State Council released a guideline recently. The guideline calls for students to respect work.Students should learn basic life skills and form good working habits through such education.

around the house.
Schools and families play an important role in teaching students about the value of working hard, the guideline says.Primary and middle schools should provide students with hardworking spirit classes every week, according to the guideline.Schools can also hold activities to give students real- world work experiences. For example, schools can teach children how to plant trees on Tree-Planting Day.

These skills can include cooking, washing their own clothes and tidying their rooms.
