What are the similarities between painting and petry?
In my pinin, bth painting and petry are art frms that express beauty. Painting expresses beauty by means f clurs, light and shapes while petry des the same by means f sunds, wrds and abstract images. Bth are well wrth appreciating as they prvide us with artistic pleasure.
1. Which type d yu think each f the paintings belngs t? Why?
Picture 1 is a prtrait painting because the painting is f a persn's head and shulders.Picture 2 is a still life painting because the painting is f flwers that have been arranged in a vase.Picture 3 is a real-life painting because the painter painted real peple in a real situatin; they are dancing and scializing.Picture 4 is a landscape painting because the painting is f a natural view f muntains.
2. What famus painters and paintings d yu knw abut?
The Chinese painter Zhang Daqian (1899-1983) painted landscape scenes, birds and flwers, as well as peple. He is well knwn fr using splashed ink and clur technique, which embraces bth Eastern and Western influences. One f his wrks, Lush Muntains in Misty Gleam, fully demnstrates this technique.
The abstract part f the painting is dne by splashing paints and ink n a sheet f gld paper. The visual impact f the bright hues f clur is striking. Over the abstract imagery, he placed a pavilin at the tp f the muntain which emerges frm the mist with water falling dwn the side. The clurs and the technique tgether created a painting that is recgnized fr its unique style and breathtaking scenery.
I knw f Qi Baishi (1864-1957), wh enjyed painting many different animals, landscapes and still life scenes. He favured using heavy ink in bright clurs and he used an energetic brushwrk style. In his famus wrk, Shrimps Playing Arund, eight shrimps are drawn using simple lines. Each shrimp appears t be full f life and seems t be playing arund in the water. Even thugh the painting may appear t be simple, the distinctive features f each shrimp can be clearly recgnized n clse inspectin. The painting is a gd representatin f Chinese ink paintings.
One f the mst influential artists in the Renaissance was Lenard da Vinci (1452-1519). His mst easily recgnizable painting is Mna Lisa, an il painting that was painted smetime between 1503 and 1519. The half-bdy prtrait is f a wman with a distant landscape in the backgrund. This painting has had art experts debating fr centuries abut the wman's true identity as well as the reasn fr her mysterius smile.
Frida Kahl (1907-1954) was a famus female painter frm Mexic, best knwn fr her brilliantly clured self-prtraits. Her painting technique is cnsidered by many experts t be in the surrealist style. One f her famus paintings, The Tw Fridas, shws twin figures hlding hands, each figure representing an ppsing side f Kahl-ne is the traditinal Frida in a traditinal Mexican cstume, with a brken heart, sitting next t an independent, mdern dressed Frida.

The bat and its surrunding scene are just an impressin f what the painter saw s they are nt painted in clear detail—the sft edges f the bats, factry chimneys, sea and sky seem t mix tgether.
