Step1 Lead-in
T: I have a sister t. My parents always cmpared me with her. It made me feel bad. D yur parents always cmpare yu with thers?

T: When cmparing, what wrd d we always use?

Step 2 Presentatin
1. T: Fr example...
Shw the pictures and cmpare them by “than”. Find the rules f cmparative frms f the adjective and adverb and then finish the chart and pint ut hw t add “-r” and hw t duble the final letter and add “-er”.
T: Nw let’s have a try. I will hand ut sme cards t yu and there are sme adjectives and adverbs n the cards. Think abut which line the wrd shuld be. If I say “-er”, the ne wh get the cards must cme up t the bard and stick it t the bard as fast as yu can.
The sudents try t find the right rule fr his wn wrds t get familiar with the rules and learn frm the mistakes.
Review the rules again.
Step 3 Listening
T: We have knwn abut the rules f cmparative frms. Nw there are three pairs f twins in the picture. Then let’s have a mparatin f them. Please listen t the tape and get the right wrds fr the sentences. First...

In fact, if yu change yur view, the wrd “than” can make yu better. And tday Miss Ning gt a hat. It can help yu t becme better.
