探究一： where 引导的特殊疑问句的结构
where引导的特殊疑问句用来询问某人或某物在什么地方，其基本结构为：
Where are + 复数形式的主语?
Where is + 单数形式的主语?
注意：该结构的主语可以是：the+名词 / 形容词性物主代词+名词 / 人称代词主格。
1. —Where is / Where’s yur sister?—She is in the classrm .2. —Where are my bks？ —They’re in the bkcase / In the bkcase.
Where is＋______ (单数/复数)主语?Where are＋______ (单数/复数)主语?is还是are取决于主语的人称和数

Where is 可缩写为 where’s； 但是where are 不能缩写。

探究二： where 引导的特殊疑问句的回答
where引导的特殊疑问句不可以用yes或n回答，常用一个完整的句子，即“主语 + be动词 + 介词短语 + 其他” 。但要注意以下几点：
1) 为避免重复，回答时主语常用相应的人称代词代替。
—Where is the bag? 包在哪里？—It’s n the desk. 它在书桌上。
（用It指代the bag）
2）非正式场合也可省略主语和be动词，直接用介词短语回答。
—Where are my bks? 我的书在哪里？—In the classrm. 在教室里。
3）如果不知道某人或某物在什么地方， 可以说“Srry, I dn’t knw.”
—Where are they? 他们在哪里？—Srry, I dn’t knw. 对不起，我不知道。
— Where are the keys? 钥匙在哪里？— They’re under the bed. 它们在床底下。
（用They指代the keys）
4) 如果主语是人，回答时用相应的人称代词主格作主语；
—Where is yur English teacher? 你的英语老师在哪里？—He is in the classrm. 他在教室里。
探究三： 方位介词n, in与under的用法
方位介词的用法：在英语中，当要表示人或物的位置时，通常要借助方位介词。方位介词不能单独使用，必须与其他词构成介词短语。

方位介词 in, n, under
① in 表示 “在……里面”，强调某物在另一物体的内部。e.g. My bks are in my schlbag. 我的书都在书包里。
② n 表示“在……上面”，强调某物在另一物体的表面上，并且跟物体接触。e.g. My pencils are n the desk. 我的铅笔在桌子上。 The phts are n the wall. 照片在墙上。
③ under指“在……下面”，是介词表示方位，用于名词或代词前，这时名词或代词称为介词的宾语。介词后面的人称要用宾格形式。例如： -- Where is my pencil? 我的铅笔在哪里？ -- It is under yur ntebk. 它在你的笔记本下面。 -- Lk at the girl! A ring is under her.看那个女孩！一枚戒指在她下面。

探究四： 名词所有格的用法
grandparents的名词所有格形式是grandparents’，意思是“祖父母的”。是以-s结尾的复数名词，应在词尾加“’”。the students’ baseball 学生们的棒球 the girls’ bedrm 女孩们的卧室 名词所有格表示所属关系，就是表示“是某人的”。
