Call some Ss to read the answers and check. 3.Ask Ss to think: What’s the main idea of the passage?Choose the right answer.通读全文，回答问题并阅读答案。帮助学生初步掌握文章大意。 Step 3While-reading(PPT 14-20) Have Ss read the story carefully and finish the following tasks:Read Para. 1- 2 and answer the questions.Read Para. 3- 5 and complete the chart.Read the last paragraph and answer the questions below.Read the passage and fill in the blanks. 5. Check answers one by one.本部分是课文细读部分。每读完一部分都要完成相应的任务，以检测对文章细节的理解。通过问题设计，让学生带着问题阅读，提高他们的英语阅读能力以及解决问题的能力。Step 4Post- reading(PPT 21-28) Work on 3b. 1.Read the instructions.Get Ss to read the passage with these questions.2.Ask Ss to find the words or phrases in the article which have the same meanings.3. Get Ss to make new sentences with these words or phrases. Work on 3c. 1. Divide the class into small groups.Give each student a role.And then get the Ss to read and discuss the story.Prepare for role-playing.2.
