    UNIT 4 I used to be afraid of the dark. Section A3a—4c)第2课时设计说明课时学习“变化”的相关阅读。教学时由对比两幅人物变化的图片导入新课;采用三步阅读法(fast reading, careful readingpost reading)引导学生逐步理解课文;单元语法教学先让学生完成句子,感知体验所学语法结构,然后归纳总结,提高学生观察问题、分析问题的能力;然后通过练习加以巩固。教学目标通过本课时的学习,让学生达成以下目标:1.知识目标单词及短语interview, dare, private, require, take up, deal with, in front of, not... anymore, give up, in public2.能力目标能够谈论他人性格等方面的今昔对比。3.情感目标 让学生勇敢面对生活,不害怕挑战,充分相信自己,最后实现理想。重点难点1.重点:学会如何描述过去与现在的对比变化。2.难点:通过交流表达和阅读训练,进一步巩固used to do sth.句型。教学准备PPT课件 教学过程Step 1 Lead-in1.
