      TToday we are going to read an article about Qomolangma. First you need to know these words and phrases.

      Get the students to read the new words and phrases following the teacher. After thatcheck them.

      2. 比较级的使用注意事项

      (1)比较的成分应属于同类事物或同类概念也就是说比较要具有可比性

      我的花园比汤姆的花园漂亮(选出正确的翻译)

      (2)比较级与倍数词的关系及其位置

      原级结构可插入表达倍数的词表示“……若干倍”当与表示比较的词在起时它们的位置是:倍数词+  as...as/倍数词+比较级+ than...

      The elephant weighs many times more than the panda.

      大象是大熊猫的许多倍重

      (3)“比较级+ and +比较级”或“more and more/less and less+原级”结构表示“越来越……”与这类结构搭配的常用动词有growgetbecome而“the+比较级... the+比较级... ”表示“越……越……”

      Things are getting worse and worse.

      事情变得越来越糟糕

      (4)比较级前面可以用evenmucha littlea lotfar等修饰语来加强语气

      3. 最高级的使用注意事项

      (1)最高级比较围用介词inofamong等来表示

      He is the tallest in our class. 他是我们班最高的

      (2)比较级形式表示最高级意义时比较对象的围应用:any other +单数名词;the other +复数名词;the othersanyone/anything else

      He is taller than any other student in our class.

      他比我们班其他任何学生都高

      4. 同级比较的使用注意事项

      (1)表示两者在某方面相同时用“as+形容词或副词的原级+ as”的句型。

      I think science is as important as math.

      我认为科学和数学样重要

      (2)表示方在某方面不及另方时用“not as/so+形容词或副词的原级+ as”的句型。

      Its not as/so warm today as yesterday.

      今天不如昨天暖和
