一、教材分析
本课为人教精通小学英语五年级下册Unit 5 I’m cleaning the room. Lesson 30,主要操练对现在进行时一般疑问句问与答的掌握。教师依据本课的图片设计操练活动,借助词卡和图片,操练重点句型。通过语言情境的设计,让学生在自然地的语言情境中进行真实的语言交际,以问答的方式,巩固本单元的语言知识点,提高语言运用能力。
二、学情分析
本课的授课对象是小学五年级的学生,五年级是学生学习英语的关键时期,经过近三年的英语学习,学生们已经具备了一定的口语表达能力,大部分学生对英语学习仍然保持着比较浓厚的学习兴趣。本课背景是学生生活中常见的语境,学生会很感兴趣,利用学生已有的知识经验,继续激发和保持学生的学习兴趣,同时着重培养学生的学习策略。

Show the pictures, listen to the tape, talk in groups.

能够在学习中培养学生细致观察力及动手能力,增强学生乐于助人的意识。学会基本的自主学习方法,逐步形成与同伴合作学习的意识。

六、教学过程
Step 1. Revision and warming up
1. Greetings.
T: Good morning, boys and girls. How are you?
S: Good morning, Mr Liu. I’m fine. Thank you. And you?
T: I’m great. Look out of the window. Let’s talk about the weather. How’s the weather today?
S: It’s sunny.
T: YES, let’s sing a song together.
2. 演唱歌曲 Monkey, Monkey. What are you doing?
设计意图: 师生间简短的问候, 活跃课堂气氛,且歌曲内容与本课所学知识相关,为学习新课做好铺垫。
Step 2. Presentation
1. T: You know I like drawing on a sunny day. 教师板书简笔画the sun,two cousins, stand and sit. To learn new words and sentences: cousin, stand, sit, talk about, look at the picture, Are you looking at the picture? Yes, I am. / No, I’m not.
设计意图:简笔画教学通过画图由天气自然引入cousin, stand, sit的教学, 同时操练现在进行时一般疑问句句型,由第一人称的提问过渡到第三人称单数,操练巩固所学知识。
2. 看图片,说句子。由易到难,层层深入练习现在进行时。
3. 教师领读课文,学生跟读。
T: Boys and girls, please follow me to read just practise.
Ss: OK.
4. 学生领读课文,教师跟读,及时评价。
T: Teachers, stand up. Ready?
S: Go!
T: You are great teachers. Am I a good student?
S: Yes.
T: Sit down.
设计意图:整体感知所学词句知识,回顾stand and sit两词,强化记忆,缓解学生学习疲劳,激发学习动力。
Step3. Practice
3.我演你猜:
邀请一组同学到台前,一名同学背对电子白板,其他同学观看大屏幕,并根据出示单词进行动作表演,猜的同学用所学句型进行提问,其他同学回答,每组共计10个词组,每答对一题加一分,即获得一张奖励卡片,最多获得10张卡片。
设计意图: 小组合作竞争,对所学词组和句型进行操练,加深对课文内容的理解,激发学生参与的积极性,同时避免单个同学上台表演时的紧张焦虑,效果更佳。
4. Let’s chant字母组合ur
设计意图:在欢快的节奏中,练习字母组合ur的发音,体会chant的节奏,感受说唱英语的乐趣,体验英语学习的快乐。
Step 4. Language use
设置场景:教师使用本课Let’s talk的图片,设置创编对话任务,让学生看图片讨论,两人一组创编对话。
S1:Hello! Let’s talk about the picture.
S2:OK! Is she looking at the kite?
S1:No, she isn’t. She is looking at the sun.
S2:Really? Maybe she is looking at the bird.
S1:I think she is just standing there.
设计意图:创设情境,综合运用所学知识进行交流,巩固本课所学。
Step 5. Summary and homework.
1. Listen to the tape of lesson 30 at home.
2. Make a new dialogue with your friends.
3. Make a pamphlet (小册子) by using the picture cards you have, and write sentences about them.
设计意图:作业分层设计,由易到难适应不同水平的学生,面向全体,卡品集成小册子锻炼学生动手动脑的能力,对词汇、句型的学习掌握轻松有趣。
