Look at the pictures and discuss. What are they doing? What do you think of them?

Step 2 Presentation 1. Read, translate and think. What’s the similarity(相似点) among the three sentences? The girl is helpful enough to give her seat on the bus. Sentence structure: be + adj./adv. + enough + to do sth足够……做某事 We use this pattern(结构) to describe(描述) a person’s personality(品质) and abilities(能力). Step 3 Practice 1. (3)Andrew, careless, finish DIY Andrew was too careless to finish DIY. Tip: Sometimes we need to add “for sb” before the to-infinitive. 2. The radio show is over. Millie wants to write about that day in her diary.
