Unit 7 There’s a post office near my school第一课时B Let’s Learn A Let’s Listen and Say1. 能听懂、辨认字母o在post,office,hotel,shop等单词中的发音。2. 能听懂、会说、认读post office,hotel,bank,shopping centre,there,near,street,cinema等新词。3. 能用句型“There is…” “—Is there…? —Yes, there is./No, there isn’t.”对建筑物的方位进行简单的描述及问答。4. 能运用there be句型谈论场所方位;能听懂、会说A部分的对话。能听懂、会说、认读新单词;能运用所学的句型对建筑物的方位进行简单问答。能看懂简单的英语平面地图并运用there be句型描述场所的方位。课件、录音机和磁带。Step 1 Warmup & Revision1. Enjoy the song: Ten Green Bottles.2. 复习方位介词。教师用课件出示chant,师生一起拍打节奏,大声说唱:in里on上out外,under在下记得快;above上方不挨物; below位置在低处;near靠近behind后,in front of在前头;between中间beside旁,这些介词不要忘。3. 教师给出以下指令:There is a ruler on your nose./There is a pencil behind your ear./There is a book on your head./There is an eraser under your book./…学生根据听到的指令做动作。Step 2 Presentation & PracticeB Let’s Learn1. 教师课件展示B部分挂图,让学生仔细观察:What’s in the picture? (There is a park, some streets and buildings.)教师引导学生一边看图,一边逐一展示新词park,street,bank,hotel,cinema,post office,shopping centre。并板书新词带读。2. Listen to the tape of Part B and repeat.3. Game:Quick response.教师利用课件快速呈现场所图片,学生快速说出对应的英语名称,看看谁能说得又快又准。或者让学生完成图片与词汇的配对练习,以巩固对新词的记忆。A Let’s Listen and Say1. 课件展示一幅家乡平面图,说:This is our hometown. Look! There is a school in our town. It is our school.教师板书hometown并教读。2. 让学生看家乡平面图五秒钟,然后覆盖平面图,问:It there a post office near your school? 引导学生根据实际情况回答:Yes, there is./No, there isn’t.教师板书句子带读,同时注意重点教读新词post office,near。3. 用同样的方法展示新词clothes shop,over there,cinema,around here,see a movie。4. 学生根据平面图练习对话,如:A: Is there a clothes shop around here?B: Yes, there is.A: Is there a hospital near the school?B: No, there isn’t.5. 教师播放录音,第一遍学生听对话,圈出对话中表示场所的单词,第二遍学生跟读对话,模仿正确的语音语调。6. 教师引导学生边读对话边讲解对话,注意帮助学生理解over there,around here,at the end of sth.等生词。7. 教师讲解There be句型。“There is…/There’s…”表示“某处有……”,其后可接可数名词单数或不可数名词。“Is there…?”是其一般疑问形式,表示“某处有……吗?”其回答有两种,“Yes, there is.” “No, there isn’t. ”。8. 师生朗读课文,可带读、分组读、分角色读等。Step 3 Consolidation & Extension教师利用课件出示一张学校附近的区域地图,让学生两人一组,结合句型“—Is there…? —Yes, there is./No, there isn’t.”创编对话。稍后请几组学生上台展示,教师予以评价。Step 4 Summary& Homework1. 小结:师生一起回顾本课时所学的重点词汇及句型。2. 作业:(1)听录音,跟读A部分对话;(2)制作已学的场所和建筑物词卡。Unit 7 There’s a post office near my schoolpost office cinema hotel bank park street shopping centreThere is...—Is there...?—Yes, there is./No, there isn’t.本课时B部分重点学习了一些场所和建筑物名称,A部分重点学习了用“Is there…”询问场所的方位并用“Yes,there is./No, there isn’t.”作出回应。教师在实际教学中,可以复习并拓展一些常见的场所和建筑物单词,不必拘泥于课本。
