    1. Here are sme phts f his. 他的一些照片在这儿。
    (1) 此句是倒装句。here, there 等副词置于句首时,句子通常用倒装。动词除了be动词外还可以用cme、g等。e.g. Here cmes the schl bus. 校车来了。
    在这个结构中,主语如果是普通名词全句需要完全倒装;主语如果是代词,则不需要倒装。e.g. Here he cmes. 他来了。
    (2) phts f his是双重所有格。e.g. I am reading a nvel f his. 我正在读他的一本小说。He is lking fr a bk f hers. 他在找她的一本书。
    f 后可以是名词性物主代词,也可以是表示具体的人的名词所有格。e.g. Tm is a friend f my father’s. 汤姆是我父亲的一个朋友。e.g. Sme friends f hers will cme. 她的一些朋友要来。
    2. He lks happy because he lves swimming.他看起来很高兴,因为他喜爱游泳。
    because是连词,意为“因为”,表示强烈的因果关系,引出的从句一般在主句之后。because不可以与s(所以)连用。e.g. I have t stay at hme because my mther is ill. 我不得不呆在家里,因为我妈妈病了。
    because还可以用来回答why引出的特殊疑问句。e.g. —Why d yu like cats? 你为什么喜欢猫? —Because they are cute. 因为它们很可爱。
    3. In Picture 3, he is talking t a Japanese girl n the Great Wall.在图3中,他正和一个日本女孩在长城上交谈。
    (1) talk t=talk with,意为“与某人谈话”。e.g. She is talking t her English teacher. 她正在和她的英语老师谈话。
    (2) Japanese在句中用作形容词, 意为“日本(人)的,日语的”。e.g. I have a Japanese friend. 我有一位日本的朋友。Japanese还可以做名词,表示“日本人”时是可数名词,单复数相同。表示“日语”时是不可数名词。e.g. There are tw Japanese in the rm. They speak Japanese. 房间里有两个日本人。他们说日语。
    4. I als want t visit it ne day. 我也想将来有一天去那儿参观。
    (1) als意为“也”,是正式用语,通常用于肯定句中。位于实义动词之前,be动词、情态动词和助动词之后。e.g. My father als likes apples. 我爸爸也喜欢苹果。The by is als a student. 这个男孩也是一名学生。
    肯定句中表示“也”还可以用t。t用于句末,通常有逗号与前面句子隔开。
    (2) ne day意为“(将来或过去)有一天”。
