    2 动名词作主语 (1)动名词作主语表示一般的、抽象的、泛指的概念。Wrking in these cnditins is nt a pleasure but a suffer. 在这种条件下工作不是一件愉快的事而是一件痛苦的事。(2)有时用it 作形式主语,而将作真正主语的动名词放在句末。常见句型有: ①It is + n use/n gd/n fun/a waste f time 等名词 + ding sth. It is n use telling him nt t be upset. 告诉他不要难过是没有用的。[词汇复现] It is a waste f time talking abut that. 谈论那件事是浪费时间。 ②It is + useless/nice/gd/interesting/wrthwhile 等形容词 + ding sth. It is useless discussing the matter with him. 和他讨论这件事是没有用的。It is wrthwhile having a try even if yu may fail. 即使你可能失败,也值得一试。
    (3)“There is n + 动名词”为常见结构,相当于It is impssible t d sth.。There is n jking abut such matters. 这种事开不得玩笑。There is n hiding f evil but nt t d it. 若要人不知,除非己莫为。【学法点拨】 动名词作主语多表示一般的、抽象的、泛指的概念或一个已经完成的动作,强调的是事情本身。而不定式作主语表示具体的某一次行为或将来的动作,强调的是动作本身。不过有时二者区别很小。Climbing muntains is great fun. 爬山很有趣。T visit China is my next gal. 去中国旅游是我的下一个目标。
