Sea turtles are ne f several species that have temperature-dependent sex determinatin. The number f female babies increases when nests are made in warmer sands.
A recent study by the Natinal Oceanic and Atmspheric Administratin, Califrnia State University and Wrldwide Fund fr Nature Australia examined tw genetically distinct ppulatins f green sea turtles living in the Great Barrier Reef.
